“My 1 yr old daughter attends 'Froggies' and absolutely loves it! The team there are attentive, kind and have helped her grow and learn so much over the past 6 months. Would highly recommend to any parent looking for a childcare centre in East Auckland”
“I have absolutely loved Ako Adventures. They watched 2 of my children and they grew and thrived in their environment. It was sad that we had to leave due to relocating, but if we were in the area we would definitely come back! All staff were amazing towards me and my family. We thank you so much!!”
“Two of my girls attended Howick Baptist Kindy and we absolutely loved the experience. We were always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. I appreciated the integration of faith and learning, and my kids had so much fun while at the kindy. The other families whose kids attended HBK became close friends and have remained so. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone”
“Absolutely love Acorn and has been amazing for my 2 children... Catherine who runs it genuinely cares for all the children and wants to make it a great environment for pre school development with the right mix of fun and learning. They have a 4 year old programme run for 4 year olds (as you'd expect) and is designed to get them ready for school with some of the elements of school... this is a perfect intro for my daughter who got an award at her first school assembly for settling in so quickly. The Christmas concert they put on is also a yearly highlight... and even though I'm off work this week and my son could stay at home, he has wanted to go to Acorn to play with his friends each day... I highly recommend Acorn to anyone considering a ELC in Auckland!”
“Having played guitar for over 10 years, i have cycled through many guitar tutors and not a single one is comparable to Felipe of Guitar City. Not only has he helped built my guitar skills professionally and enthusiastically, he has formed a lifelong relationship along with it. Couldn’t ask for more.”
“Leo had a wonderful time at the Little Earth Montessori, filled with laughter, learning, and new friendships. Leo felt happy and safe, thanks to the caring and dedicated staff who supported him every step of the way. Their warmth and enthusiasm made his daycare experience truly special. We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped him thrive and made his time at Little Earth Montessori so memorable.”
“Great school, friendly and modern teaching style.”
“was ok but it came with some missing parts”
“My daughter absolutely loves coming here. She has so much fun and is learning so much from both the wonderful teachers here and also from the other kids who attend. Her language and social skills are developing at a great rate thanks to Kindy and nearly every day she has a new adventure to share”
“This is my favourite place ever. Nice place do study music over here .”
“Great place! Nice building, well equipped, excellent team, in front of a wonderful rocky shore”
“Thank you so much! It’s so sad to have our son’s Kindercare journey come to an end, but we can see the values, self-confidence and self-worth you have all helped to develop and strengthen in him as he navigates making new friends, tackling new challenges and making the big transition to school. He has made such wonderful friends through his journey (as have we!) and I’m sure he will be keen to say hi whenever he swings by dropping off or picking up his brother. Kindercare provided such a supportive, collaborative environment to help him thrive during transitions and periods of change, as well as build his language and understanding of his body and mind as we navigate the world with his potential neurodiverse diagnosis. The extra meetings with kaiako to build individualised plans and strategies to use at daycare and carry over to home as well were such a huge help for us to build confidence and resilience as a family while we figured out what worked best to support him. Kaiako listened and made us feel heard and valued when things were tough and celebrated with us when things went well. You have given our son the space to grow in his own unique way. We’re so very proud of our big man heading off to school and everything he has achieved socially, emotionally, physically and academically at Kindercare. You’ve been a home for him to grow and learn, and for that we will be forever grateful.”
“We were glad that we placed our son in Little Wonders' care. The environment is friendly, professional and educational. The teachers and staff are so caring, loving, genuine, down to earth, and trust worthy. Children play outside in the nice big backyard with lots of things to play on. There's just a wide variety of play and learn going on. My son loved Little Wonders, too bad we had to move to Auckland. I highly recommend Little Wonders to anyone needing childcare for their children. Thank you so much to Kuku and Paua room teachers especially to his key teachers, Chrishanti and Juliet. You have contributed to his learning experience. Ian still misses everyone and still talks about all friends he made at Little Wonders :)”
“If you are in the zone, and have the opportunity to attend Miramar North School, then you are the luckiest parents in your friends group. This school has core values which they embed throughout their teaching, their students and their staff. A sense of community. A principal who genuinely cares and has amassed decades of experience and knowledge. The best decision I ever made as a parent, hands down.”
“I couldn’t speak more highly of this centre. There is absolutely no other centre quite like this one and you are quick to realise this upon spending welcomed time there. The kids here get the opportunity to go on bus rides, make trips to the local super market to purchase foods to complement the food they have grown, learnt and hand picked in their own garden, they go on bike rides, learn about things that are important and current to our world, the list goes on and on. My daughters development is growing at a rapid rate and I honestly wish I could take all the credit for it but I know the large majority stems from P2. The teachers all know how to care, extend, and most importantly understand what works best for her. I believe that her needs would get lost in a bigger centre so it’s nice that numbers are kept low here. P2 is not just an early childhood centre, it’s a family where everyone is accepted and embraced, family’s are connected together, relationships are built and successes are celebrated. When our time here is up, we will walk away with some life long friends and connections. I am so thankful that my daughter gets to experience care like this. Again, I could not recommend this centre any more.”
“St Michael is my school and it’s really fun and enjoyable all the students are kind and funny please rate my school a five thanks love mary”
“Best kindy around. The teachers are great and really helpful, caring and always there for the kids. If you're looking for a great kindy for your child, Dyer St kindy will be great. The Hutt Kindys are great so no matter where you go you'll be sweet, but Dyer St is exceptional.”
“Love this school! Teachers and staff are absolutely fabulous. The principal is a wonderful leader, completely passionate about supporting our kids to be awesome human beings. Love how there is a focus on decolonisation. Massive manaaki and kaitiaki and aroha. Kids are absolutely gorgeous! Can't speak highly enough of this small kura. ”
“We’ve absolutely loved our time at Millie's House. The Kaiako (teachers) are so supportive and caring, and the environment is great, lots for the kids to do. Our son has thrived here. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend it to other families!”
“We absolutely love Small World preschool. The teachers are incredibly kind and nurturing, and it's evident that they genuinely care about our childrens well-being and development. Both my kids come home happy, well slept and calm. It's a cozy place that does an outstanding job. Feel lucky to have found this jem.”
“Nice, well looked after school! Great place to play with the kids In the weekend.”
“Performance was amazing and fun upbeat music with powerful voices. Disappointed by the all white crowd, … how do you get other cultures to attend I wonder? Something in the marketing perhaps”
“My daughter loves her days at this centre The teachers are great”
“Wonderful institution that provide excellent service to students.”
“Good environment friendly clean and tidy would love to send my baby there”
“Teams at Wairakei are caring and have put effort towards aspirations for our child. The nursery is spacious with abundant toys and play obstacles for children. We have active baby boy and he truly enjoys the centre.”
“Words can’t fully express how grateful we are for our time at BestStart Redwood. Our daughter has journeyed through all three rooms from the nursery to Prep-School! And every step of the way has been filled with care, warmth, and support. Even after relocating from Redwood to Hornby, we chose to keep her enrolled because of the strong bond and trust we had with the center and its staff. It wasn’t until we moved overseas that we had to say goodbye, which was truly bittersweet - and we still miss it. The staff at BestStart Redwood have been absolutely incredible. They created such a nurturing, safe, and joyful environment that gave us peace of mind every single day. After each drop-off, I walked away knowing she was in great hands! Thank you, BestStart Redwood, for being such a significant and cherished part of our daughter’s early years. We will always remember you with deep appreciation and fondness.”
“Due to moving, our son H has been to 5 childcare centres over 4 years in both Australia and New Zealand. Ako is our favourite. The owner Rachael and the kindy room teachers have been so accomodating, nurturing, patient and welcoming towards Hunter during his transition to NZ when things were quite overwhelming in his home life with the move and constant changes. We have a lot of experience to compare Ako to having toured at least 30 centres and having attended 5 previously and we feel so lucky that we landed here at Ako. We feel so safe and content leaving our son there and he has really blossomed during his time at Ako. We will be sad to say goodbye in January when our school journey begins. Thanks to the team for being such a great support for H. We appreciate you all more than you know!”
