“Casa Montessori is one of the best Montessori pre school that i have seen in New Zealand. Teachers are excellent l, caring loving and very organised, environment is really tidy and clean and also methodical. My son loved going to Casa everyday and he was well prepared for the school by the teachers. Centre manager Sonali was amazing and very kind a caring soul. The learning stories were amazing as they were really comprehensive and detailed with plenty of pictures and i loved reading them when there were uploaded. They had a practical skills area, science, maths language and literacy, so STEAM activities, music, painting, geography & physical activities too. They even did baking , making dumplings with kids.. i have never found a place like Casa Montessori even in the south island of New Zealand to enrol my daughter after my son . I think Casa Montessori has set the bar very high for all the Montessori preschools around New Zealand. Well done! Keep up the good work Casa Montessori! Love this place so much Highly recommend them to everyone all in all great place❤️”
“What a lovely and NZ unique place for the little ones! My boy is 9 month old. He loves here so much and has a lot of fun together with other children. He likes copying bigger kids playing and enjoys different adventures every time. I believe he likes sand and water very much. I really like here too because parents share ideas with each other, help looking after each other's kids. Friendly, caring and sharing. What a team! Thank you for all of the organizers' hard working... Feel blessed...”
“Highly recommend. Teachers are lovely and warm, with the centre having a family feel to it. Lots of activities to keep them busy and care and attention given to each. Convenient location and well priced.”
“This is an awesome kindy. It's not for profit which was important for me - that means it's not being run as a business, which unfortunately many centres in Manurewa are. The staff are loyal to the centre, they are happy and they love the kids. They pay attention to what the kids like and make activities just for them - they have a massive storeroom of activities so it changes all the time. The outdoor area is amazing - go and visit and you'll see. I know my kids are cared for and safe at this centre - thanks kiddywinks :)”
“Thank you Hands at Play this is a very good daycare I had my two children here and they finished this year and the primary school teachers are very happy with my children and their progress. Thank you so much”
“Amazing daycare centre, lovely staff and very supportive. I wouldn’t have my babies anywhere else”
“My daughter has been attending this daycare for a little over two months. Despite her shyness, with the help of the teachers, she has already made friends, gained confidence, and eagerly participates in play with the other children and teachers. The teachers are extremely passionate about their work, keeping the children engaged with a wide variety of interesting activities so that they never get bored.”
“City preschool is truly outstanding! They offer an amazing range of indoor and outdoor activities, providing wonderful opportunities for children to expand their knowledge. The team of teachers is simply amazing – so caring and dedicated. Highly recommended for any parent!”
“The staff here have become our ‘village’ over the past couple of years. They each have such a strong sense of integrity and care for the children. Great communication with parents - I.e. prompt, honest and kind. Clean and modern facilities.”
“Every Friday night, there is Kendo training. Stunning view of Rangitoto when the gym windows are opened.”
“My daughter attends and has grown so much in confidence, since starting her playcentre journey 9mths ago. The support of the other parents has been invaluable. The diverse and well resourced play areas cater to everyone from quite story time to fun messy play. The sky is the limit! The Centre is located in a great area, close to Mt Eden Village. Plenty of parking available.”
“Great school, amazing teachers, such talent and great visions. Highly recommend this school. Awesome culture.”
“I cannot recommend this Centre highly enough! From the day my daughter started (6M) till now (3 & 1/2Y) I’ve never had any issues. My daughter is well looked after, cared for, and most importantly, she loves going each day! She loves her teachers and her friends! Can’t wait for her sister to join her next year :)”
“Great progressive school, considering the fact they also accept men/trans-women. Truly a model school for others to follow.”
“My Daughter loves going here and the staff are amazing. They play and make things with the kids that will blow your mind! Cyril is the master of making from a outside kitchen to working full size scales, Alisha is always coming home telling us all about what has been made today. Fully recommend this place :)”
“My kids love it here, best place for them. Is a bit different to a kindy in that the parents are the educators. There is quite a bit of commitment required to do all the training but is nzqa qualified. Also as you progress you have to do office holder roles which take time, but for the joy of spending time with your kids and with other people's kids and getting to know the community is well worth it.”
“I don’t think I can put in words what an amazing role Vintage kids has played in our family. Both our kids attended, we fell in love with the place on our first visit. I imagine a visit is all that’s needed for anyone looking for a nurturing environment for their children. The teachers went above ant beyond from day one up til the final day before our kids left for school.”
“Polina and Vlad are extremely knowledgeable and passionate educators. Polina sets expectations in a firm, gentle and respectful way. She gives her students plenty of encouragement. Her lessons are full of fun and our children enjoy her lessons very much. Her lessons complement work done at school really well with plenty of repetition with games and exercises. Our 8 year old was struggling hugely with maths at school and now she’s doing well.”
“Caring and supportive teachers and a lovely Enviro kindy”
“An excellent Kindy with a good balance of play time and learning activities. Their Rising Stars program for older children is a fantastic way to get kids prepared for their starting school. Parent interaction and involvement is also at a really high standard.”
“Caring and very friendly staff, children are all happy and comfortable. The way in can be tough during peak hours and needs some shelter from bad weather.”
“My son is currently enrolled at Tiny Stars and I cant tell how you much my son has learnt especially in the past year at Tiny Stars. Though he's playful at home, his attitude changes as soon as the gate opens and it's like he's a different person. He honestly loves Tiny Stars he sometimes doesn't want to leave. The staff there too are also friendly, they keep you in the loop of your child's learning and they really value the child's learning.”
“My daughters were attending another daycare when things didnt go well and we needed to find somewhere else FAST. Mataliki was the first daycare we visited and they were able to take in both my girls, the staff are friendly and my daughter's always came home happy and looking forward to the next day. To this day they always ask if they can go back to their old school and they are both 6 and 8yrs old now.”
“Great place for childcare services”
“We love Kohi Montessori! The teachers go above and beyond for the children and the ratios are nice and low. My daughter loves the big outdoor area where I see all the kids running round, playing tag, soccer, sprinklers in summer, playing on moon-hoppers, and more. They also prepare the children for school with skills like writing their names, teaching independence and sending home little readers. I highly recommend to all.”
“From the moment we walked in the door, we knew this was the best place for our two children. We were drawn to the warm, welcoming and stimulating environment. The amazing, dedicated teachers, along with the interesting materials, naturally inspire learning and spark the imagination. Children are free to choose their own work and learn and develop at their own pace. The teachers genuinely respect the children, who in turn respect the teachers and the environment. It creates a strong sense of belonging and community that made our children feel like this was their second home. They have been raised the way we intended and left preschool as independent, self motivated, confident and polite young people, ready for the next chapter of life. The skills and experiences they gained at Glendowie Montessori have undoubtedly set the best possible foundations for their future.”
“Glen Innes is definitely a great school with enthusiastic children and warm and friendly staff members. We embrace each others culture here and work in partnership with parents teachers and children.”
“Exceptional opportunities provided by this school, for our Son. We have seen remarkable improvement in a short space of time from the Arrowsmith program & A1 School. Every school in New Zealand should have some of this learning development integrated into the schools program.”
“Awesome place for early childhood education. Friendly people and lots of fun.”
“We have been coming to this playcentre for 4 years and love it! A great social network for the whole family aswell as quality early childhood education for your kids that you get to be part of.”
