“Nice little Thai restaurant on Marine Pde. Was a busy Saturday night post marathon day and while service was pretty good, would have been great with maybe one more waitress helping. Food was delicious and serving sizes are very generous. Worth a look if you're in Napier and craving good quality Thai.”

“I haven't actually eaten here but I can vouch for the professional nature of management. I stupidly ordered by mistake from Thai Lotus believing they were a in fact Lotus Thai in Taupo. Upon contacting Thai Lotus the owner was extremely accommodating and we agreed to refund 50% of my mistake. They probably didn't have to do this, so very impressed they were so reasonable. Deserve more business for being good humans.”

“We decided to try this place after asking some diners who were just leaving if they enjoyed there food. Nice clean premises with an eclectic decor. We were seated with menus & hot Jasmine tea. So hard to choose from the beautiful pics in the menu! We ordered two types of fried dumplings, a pork dish and a beef dish. Food came out fast, nice big portions and full of flavour! Very good prices on the meals and just the food quality is amazing. We got the crab and prawns in a chilli sauce and it was some of the best seafood we’ve ever had. “Pop in there awhile ago with some family members for dinner, out of the five of us I was the only vegetarian, I was very happy with the selection of meals I had to choose from, my meal was very tasty and great, I know the rest of my family were very happy with their meals, The staff were great and friendly and were very helpful with any questions you may have when you are having trouble ordering, their prices are good you really get your money wroth here, they do sell liquor here but it’s also BYO but if I remember correctly it’s little charge for being your own, overall it was awesome night, it’s awesome to have such a great Restaurant in the heart of Newtown!! Oyster is very large and fresh, they also have tabasco sauce to go with, limit 6 per adult. steam prawn is also very fresh, limit 12 per adult. Mussels has topped with capers. Cripspy pork was bery cripsy and my daughter loves noodle. Tiramisu dessert was so good for me. Kids loved ice cream station.”

“Second time in seven days trying this restaurant and I really wish I’d known about it sooner. So far I’ve tried the prawn chow mein, sweet and sour pork, black bean combination on rice, seasonal vegetables with garlic sauce and their wontons. Absolutely no complaints. I’m not even usually that big on Chinese takeaways but the service and amount of meat and vegetables is great, sauce is tasty, portion size is generous, service is outstanding. Wontons have crispy deep fried wrapper and actually have a good serve of meat in them!! Looking forward to my next meal with them to try some more dishes.”

“For a late lunch I tried the roast pork (not the usual bbq pork) wonton noodle soup. With 5 pork wontons and the roast pork it was a very filling lunch. The service was quick and friendly from the next generation of this family business. The matriarch still oversees the business with a friendly smile as you leave with a full stomach. It re-established itself in Epsom after the Mercury theatre food court closed for the new railway station. With easy access and parking close by, certainly be visiting more often now.”

Delicious food, very generous portions, A+ cleanliness and always a warm smile and friendly greeting. The home made wontons are the best in Auckland (in our opinion- we've tried plenty!) and homemade spring rolls are also excellent. Our favourite is the wholesome wonton soup. Nothing more comforting on a cold night- packed with wontons and veges. Divine food- made with love. Thank you! (Plenty of Vegetarian options available)”
