Never disappointed at Gulmohar. They have great lunch deals too. We were given a choc naan dessert to try, and it is worth it. Authentic Indian dishes, not sweet like other restaurants do to make it suitable for the NZ pallete. Been going here for atleast 8 years.
The food exceeded my expectations. Each dish was well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, and presented with care. The quality and flavour were outstanding. I will definitely return.. keep up the great work.. Thanks.. lots of love love ❤️
feels like home! i love the friendly staff, the feeling i get when i go in there. and roti and daaal mmm mmmm. i take all my friends there and they all agree it is the best Indian in Hamilton!been there for lunch, dinner and order out for work party and also for home delivery. recommended dishes are from not just my order but everyone else who has been there with me as well..
Really enjoyed the food and service here. The atmosphere was very nice and comfortable. We ordered momos, and they tasted so good that they reminded us of India. The staff were polite and quick with the service. Special thanks for the wonderful masala soda — it was refreshing and full of flavour. Overall, a great experience and definitely a place worth visiting again.
One of the best Indian Restaurants in NZ! Both the service and food excellent. We went as a large group and everything from the entrees to the mains were delicious, fresh and all spice levels catered for perfectly. Naan breads were so light! We couldn’t fault anything. We are already planning our next visit.
I like the food. For veg starter, we ordered Paneer Chettinad and non-veg Chicken Tikka. However, the Veg starter was not that much delicious. I won't recommend it. Ambiance is good and service is also fast.
I've ordered the chicken tikka masala dish for lunch. It was a lunch special for $16. It came with a drink, naad bread, curry and a papadam. The chicken tikka masala curry was pretty average, I don't think it was marinated and char grilled properly BUT for the price...it was definitely value for money! The place was quite busy during lunch time. I would recommended others to give it a try.
Lovely place to have authentic Indian food. Great atmosphere and venue for parties. Very friendly staffs. Delicious Food.
I did an order online 54289 for pick up, I came to restaurant after almost 30 mins to hear that we are closed today due to power, at least have courtesy to inform customer that you can't process order as I came all the way to pick food. I asked the guy why you didn't inform says no power and the moment I left from restaurant , I got email that restaurant declined my order, how????? From where Power came???? This is worst customer experience as I went to another restaurant and have to wait for another 30 minutes. I'm sure the behaviour and incompetence will reflect in their food as well, please improve.
