The food was nicely prepared and cooked. But I brought a fried rice meal and there was hardly any meat in it. I can do much better for 20 bucks βΉοΈ
Always fresh and tasty. Battered fish is nice n crispy. Good portions and the meal deals are well worth it.
Very disappointing, ordered combination pork and chicken on rice and wontons via uber eats. Tasted good, BUT felt nauseous not long after and had food poisoning.
I like to think of myself as a true hot chip connoisseur, and the chips here are INCREDIBLE! Iβve also had their combination fried rice and sweet and sour pork which are to die for! Highly recommend, seems a lot more clean, natural and way less greasy than similar takeaway stores. A+++
Waited just under an hour for takeaway, they need more staff to prepare the meals. One person cooking and one answering phone and serving customers doesn't work for the volume of customers. Won't be going back.
Very disappointing experience with the Black Bean and Chow Mein, especially considering the good reviews. No ginger/garlic base, so it didn't even taste Chinese. I found the food bland and barely seasoned, though the veges were fresh and customer service was good. I'm just one person, taste is subjective and this place seems to have found a niche so good for them. I would not return unfortunately, not for me.
We had a very enjoyable meal from Te Aroha Chinese Takeaways. The special #1 which consists of chicken chow mein, sweet and sour pork & combination fried rice. For 6 people we added vegetable fried noodles and beef black bean & had loads of leftovers. We were really happy with everything, especially the amount of beautifully cooked veges. The staff/owners are absolutely lovely and the premises were very clean and tidy. So happy to have them here! We will definitely order again.
