I have gotten two smoothies and both have been absolutely top tier. The staff are lovely, welcoming and the service is also quick.
Really used to love this place but things have definitely gone down hill. I don’t buy the salad any more as they just don’t have flavour or seasoning maybe I’m not really sure. I love this utter nutter smoothie but feel it’s just not berry milk, watery and missing the flavours its states. Also found the last time I went there I offered to fix up one of the dead plants they have in there by just removing some of the dead leaves and got told rudely no, then proceeded to say rudely should I come to your work place and do that? Just the attitude and sass I got fired back at me just kinda keeps that sour feel about the place for me. So gutted it’s changed from the awesome front of house they used to have. I won’t be going back.
I have bought lunches many times in the past from Mount store no issues but haven’t recently. Today I tried the food print app for the first time also Mount store and it was a really bad experience. Ordered Pesto chicken pasta but only found out after I left that it was only pasta and two slices of sun-dried tomatoes. No chicken no pesto. Also ordered a muffin which got brought out from the back already in glad wrap. Cut the long story short, the attitude and communication was bad in rectifying the situation and ended up going back to drop the food to check on my refund (because the lady which I believe to be the owner refused to pick up my call again but there were no customers at all when I turned up). I returned the muffin as well as I’m not confident it was fresh from today as per the app. It’s really not nice and deceiving.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I’m not one to write reviews like this, but if it helps someone save their money - I will! Today I visited this shop and asked if they had strawberry matcha. The guy said he had strawberries and could make it, which was kind. He blended almond milk, frozen strawberries, and ice, but when it came to the matcha, he couldn’t find the whisk and used a fork instead (which doesn’t work well, wasn’t mixed properly or for long enough). When I tried it, it was thick, lumpy, and sour - nothing like a strawberry matcha. He replied, “Oh well, that’s what you ordered and green tea is sour,” which came across as really rude. He did offer to add vanilla, but that would’ve just made it worse. I drink matcha regularly, and this was not it. Personally, if you didn’t know how to make it, I wish you would've said no. I would’ve understood, but instead I wasted money on alternative milk, strawberries, and a drink that was completely undrinkable. I ended up throwing it away at Burger Fuel next door. Waste of money and poor customer service. Would not recommend!
A little delayed but better late than never! Popped in for a Juice and a Smoothie last Saturday, young woman was polite and friendly, and the drinks were DELICIOUS!!!! I've never had anything like the coconut flavored one, just.. WOW! Plus, the salads on display looked soooooo good!!! If we hadn't have already eaten, I'd be getting me some of them! 10 stars, well done team!
Great place, super healthy and freshly made yummy food that you can feel good about. My favourite is the Asian noodle salad which is so full of flavour. The couscous is also amazing. And of course, dr's orders to get your greens!
Every single encounter i’ve had at Pluto has made me smile, ear to ear. Just today I went in to grab a salad and a juice, I was met with compliments and smiles. The girls always make me feel important and loved ❤️ Not to mention the juices, salads and overall vibe of the place is lovely! Highly recommend Pluto! Xx
