Fabulous! We both really enjoyed our lunch. The meat was lovely but the roast vegetables were outstanding. It was so delicious we bought cabinet desserts to take home (also really great) and a couple of meals for another day. Outstanding value and we both loved that we were supporting a great cause as well. We will be back!
Great place to get a coffee and eat. The coffee was great and the eggs bene was delicious! 100% recommend.
This was the best breakfast I've ever in Christchurch. The fries and hasbrowns were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection. We also had iced coffee,iced chocolate and iced caramel latte and it was divine. The staff made us feel very welcome, so overall it was an amazing experience. Wish I could give them an extra star!
This is a great little cafe that is a win win in so many ways. You get a cheap but delicious meal or cabinet food, your supporting the community as they give to the community. It is a cafe I enjoy going to with both family and friends as well as recommend to anyone who reads this. So please give them a try and support the community at the same time.
Cheap tasty food. However if eating in it feels like you're in the city missions staff room. Maybe it's just been at the time we've been there the last several visits. Also the mission staff are super loud greeting and leaving each other going to work over the road. Pretty uncomfortable experience for myself but some may not be bothered by it. Cafe staff are pretty friendly and it's good value for money

The food is great and price is so reasonable. Very close to city centre. $3 for a nice coffee. The staff and service is good. I wish I have known the place earlier. Dining here is also helping the others in need. Hope more people could know this cafe.
Excellent & cheap food. Close to work so I come here for lunch and will make it my regular I think! This week across the week I had Burger & Fries, steak Pie & the soup of the day. The burger was great it was made with a good thick patty and tasted awesome. Right amount of sauce etc, not overwhelming, The soup of the day I got was leek and potato, very creamy & tasty felt quite full after. (Excuse the poorly buttered toast that was me not the cafe as they give you a PCU) The steak pie very thick pastry *in a good way. Had very large chunks of steak in and nice thick gravy.
