“After failing my WOF at VTNZ, I went to the VTNZ recommend garage. They quoted $850 for 2 ball joints. Luckily I came to Paokwhai Autos for another quote. Scott did the job for $450 in only 3 hours. Nearly half the price for the exact same job! Great communication, good location (with loan cars) and a genuine operator. I'll be recommending my colleagues head here and stear clear of the other garage. Thanks heaps Scott!”

“I'm vision impaired and struggled to read their menu (Very small print with fancy font). It's very busy and I found it difficult to read what they had. It also says online that they make vegan Mac n cheese etc however when I asked they only had soups and fresh sandwiches, tacos etc. The chipotle taco, soup and sandwich I had on two separate occasions were delicious and the fact they cater for vegans and vegetarians is amazing. Seems alternative eating has gone backwards everytime I visit NZ however this place is amazing.”

“I was shopping around looking for a bakery to do gluten free cakes for a future event and I came across a review for gluten free items at Frimley Bakery. WHAT? No way! I went there like 7 years ago and I could only get a $9 toastie (good but $9 in 2018). Today they have a whole shelf of GF items and there is savoury and sweet. I got a whole spice loaf for $7.50!!!! It is soft and yummmmmm!”

“Sad to hear they had to move from their last place due to lease not renewed. Property sold to a petrol company..100 years of this wonderful business and kicked out to another site. Council should be kicked for not supporting this local business. Ice cream is top quality and unique taste. The gardens and setting was something my family and others have come for this wonderful delight. Not the same in shipping containers. Hope sanity prevails and a better site is permanent and lasting. Bring back the ponds and gardens and decor and icecream sundaes with malt and double chocolate and nuts..”
