I love this shop! Staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. It is so good seeing the animals in their care so well looked after and visible.
very run down "puppy mill" chainstore like the rest of their stores around the country. Refuse to go in there now after seeing new puppies up for sale every few weeks, just a big money making scheme. Have reported it and been advised I am not the only one with concerns. If you cared about animals you wouldn't shop there.

Pet Essentials Hastings are the best. Staff are friendly and helpful. They really care about our dogs health and wellness. And they have all you need for all types of Pets.
We have two dogs one of them having the licking problem we went in and talked to Chrissy the Manager and she recommended a diet change and giving both of them the Doggy Daily immunity boost which we did and it didn’t happen straight away but the licking slowed down and she may still do it every now and then but definitely made a huge difference. I also have pond fish and we were moving so they gave advice on what to do and also a net to catch them with. Happily all the fish are thriving in their new pond. The staff are brilliant, the selection in store is brilliant and well priced. Highly recommend.

Good selection of raw and processed foods for my fur baby. Great advice offered on toy selection, even when this advice was to their detriment, I really appreciated their honest interaction.
Won't be back , staff don't even acknowledge you , was in store for 20 minutes didn't even get a hello from any of the staff! all too busy talking to each other behing the counter, I wasn't the only customer and I didn't see anyone offered any help. Hastings get a zero from me. Won't ever be back !!
