“Loved this place. So quirky with interesting art and other knick knacks. Breakfast was supplied and do it yourself which suited us fine especially as lots of it! . Lovely views of the bowling green and sea in the distance. Internet and mobile signal not the best but didn't detract from a great stay! Would do it again!”

“We stayed at the Apple Inn Motel in Hastings for 2 nights over the Christmas–New Year period while attending a funeral in Hawke’s Bay. With everything booked out and only 1 day to organise our accommodation our options were extremely limited. The only room the Apple Inn had available was a studio, which wouldn't have been our first choice, but we had little alternative. On the positive side, the motel was exceptionally cheap, especially given the time of year. The Wi-Fi was excellent and completely free, which was a pleasant surprise. The lady at reception was absolutely lovely - very friendly, welcoming, and more than happy to help. Don’t be put off by some of the low reviews here. The Apple Inn is an underrated rough diamond that offers outstanding value for money, particularly if you’re looking for something affordable and practical during a busy period.”
