    Superb hosts. Mike and Penny made us feel so welcome. Great breakfast menu, professionally presented. Clean and lots of extras. Hairdryer, plentiful supply of tea, coffee, milk, snacks. Homemade afternoon tea on arrival. Small balcony to relax and watch the sunset.Bed comfy. Room cleaned and fresh towels daily. Toiletries. Wifi, smart TV, stereo and more. Right opposite Mission Estate Winery and its great restaurant. 20min walk to town. 5min drive/cycle. Penny is a skilled artist specialising in ceramics. Studio on site. One small draw back, traffic noise during work peak times. But nights are quiet.

    A real artist producing very clever designs that incorporate among other things their love of Art Deco and the buildings and images of Napier and Hawked Bay. Off the shelf from small coasters through to large platters and also freehand pottery. Also do a great range of items with images and wording chosen by the client for specific birthday wedding and thank you gifts. Should you take the opportunity of staying with Penny and Mike you will be assured of the friendliest and most personable company leaving you with find memories of your time in Hawkes Bay New Zealand.
