OUTSTANDING food and coffee ...my wife and I shared a blueberry gluten-free muffin ... unconditionally, the Bru Cafe has refined the art of baking to a Michelin standard ... the gluten-free muffin was the BEST we've ever had.
Can definitely recommend! Had pancakes with my gf. We shared one and had some drinks (hot chocolate and coffee). Staff really friendly, we were asked if we wanted cinnamon or cacao on the coffee, which is always nice to be able to choose. Pancakes tasted amazing and the portion was adequate in relation to the price.
food was delicious and serving just right. They were very accommodating, eating with a baby came very easy as they offered to look after my wee boy so I can enjoy my food. A very pleasant atmosphere. Will definitely come back.
I was very impressed with Bru! The service was great, everyone was so nice which I’ve found to be a rarity out here in Dunedin. The gluten free pancakes were delicious as was the coffee! And I loved the hash browns! They were different than what I’m used to but they were very tasty!
Delicious eggs on toast, eggs Bennie and avocado smash. BIG latte. Really nice people. We were visiting from out of town and chose to eat here every day!
ordered the "big bru brekkie" the potato rosti was raw. I told the server and she said she will tell the cook in a grumpy manner. no offer to cook another or even heat up that one, first and last time for me. plus its freezing in there.
Cute wee space which is welcoming of children!! Nothing is a problem if you need babies things warmed up or something added to your meal! Fantastic GF options. Staff are always happy and friendly.....maybe even a little bit funny! Coffee is always very promt.
Went in with my partner and children and had an awesome breakfast! Was such a cool wee spot. Very kid friendly and delicious food. Will 100% be back again

Best beetroot latte ever (not even kidding). Quality ingredients and perfectly frothed soy milk :) Really comfy vibe, nice interior décor, friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks, clean bathrooms and lots of food options available
