“Our very lucky find travelling the Peninsular, and it was faultless. Thanks Kathy.”
“Thankyou Andrew for great and informative tour and showing us Dunedin. The trike was amazing. Cindy and Mark”
“Absolutely beautiful coffee! Delightful little shop. Jared is very down to earth and great to have a chat too over way too may coffee's lol”
“Best coffee in town... Best selection of beans to take away. Ground to your prefence. Highly recommend a visit.”
“RdC is always a pleasure but today the sandwiches were amazing!! Coffee good, sunshine great. Prices extremely good for cafés in town.”
“Had the original glaze croffle - pretty good, keen to try others if I'm ever back. Nice easy dessert to have if you're still hungry following dinner (this was the case for my wife and I).”
“Went as an international visitor and I think I paid $35 for the whole experience. They have so many exhibit including NZ/Dunedin early history, Maori, "Animal Attic" (mostly animal taxidermy), Maritime (ship models) and People of the World (random assortment of cultures - they even have a mummy). The Planetarium was alright but I went to the Night Sky one which was rather boring to be honest. The science/kids section was fun but a lot of the exhibit needs to be refreshed as they have seen a lot of use. The butterfly garden was very interesting as it is something you don't see often. They also have a cafe onsite but I did not try it. I spent around 3hrs trying to see everything but this place definitely need a few visits if you want to experience everything. My only complaint is that the gift shop does not have many Otago Museum branded things -only magnets and postcard - I was ready to buy more souvenirs, had they had more!”
“We went here for dinner tonight and the food was amazing, we especially loved the eye fillet, fried chicken and pork pieces! The hazy beer I had on tap was really nice too and the dessert was fantastic. Great service also, the staff were really lovely. Overall was one of the best restaurants I've been to in Dunedin, will definitely be back!”
At Tuppence Cafe, the menu stays coffee-and-cabinet, served with an easygoing pace. A coastal backdrop rounds out the stop. Value feels fair for the spread. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy.
“Great coffee and delicious food. Best selection of cabinet food we have seen in awhile.”
“Coffee & Food --- both 10 out of 10. Coffee is not only delicious, it is also well presented(golden cream color & shape well drawn). I had toast sandwich today with up to 3 fillings only cost me $8! So delicious & great value for money. Let alone eating inside the most beautiful building of Dunedin so much like some of the arty buildings in lower Manhattan New York city. Love this place & will become my regular cafe now”
“Such a cool cafe! Loved the artistic approach and can visualise how awesome it would be to have an event there. I only got a cappuccino as I was exploring more of the city but it was a great cappuccino at that! Highly recommend coming to Maggie’s for your next cup of coffee!”
“Very great place for outing with friends or family. Good good , great service and there are in door outdoor tables. Staff was very friendly and great. Food was quick and tasty. After lunch we went for a walk around Wal's. Plenty of park. Not far from Dunedin. And recommends for family with kids.”
“I really enjoyed the cheese and mustard scones, they are Devine 10/10.”
“Man, what can I say but a banging good time - not quite as good as Shads ;)”
“Always a pleasure . Love the Sunday train”

“Was actually on way to pools long line of traffic only reason for being there but is a clean tidy park.”
“This is a lovely cosy cafe serving quality traditional fare and really good, actually hot, coffee. An oasis in Dunedin city centre. I highly recommend Rembrandt cafe.”

“Nice park to walk the dog can be quit boggy after rain but other than that great park”
“Southern Rugby Club - I was there to watch my youngest play rugby (junior grades). The club is great, people are friendly - like that they have a tuck shop there open from the first games. Very handy on the cold winter mornings where you can pick up a hot coffee or some food when you are watching games. Great club”
“The best coffee in my 2 weeks coffee experience in Dunedin! The barista girl was very friendly and she knows what she is doing. My coffee was perfectly strong, smooth and delicious. Lemon muffin was yum too!”
“Excellent coffee here this morning. The cinnamon bun was prefect. The seating is inside the settlers museum , toitū, or on the deck. Recommended.”
