“Haven't been. Hear great things about the place.thank you”
“I applied for a food package from Kaute Pasifica as we are isolating at home due to a positive case. Our package had all the essential items and it even had treats for my 2 daughters wich made our day. We are beyond grateful for the kindness we were shown and I just wanted to express that somehow. Thankyou Kaute Pacifica for all that you do for our people. Nga mihi Maioha”
“Great selection of craft beer! A sunny spot to people watch and enjoy a wide range of beers. The bartender knew a lot about each of them and was happy to help us taste and make decisions. Good spot for a late afternoon beverage.”
“An amazing tea experience today. As a tourist who loves tea I would highly recommend this place. They have tea tasting 3 teas for $15. They also have a variety of teas, mostly oolong (their specialty) and black tea blends. There are also very nice tea pots and cups. The two ladies who helped us today were knowledgeable, welcoming and helpful. They explained how tea picking occurs as well as what makes each tea special. I would love to see a tea picking experience, that would be a great tourism boost for the place and could be done in a controlled way to ensure no contamination of the soil. Otherwise, I loved it today!”
“Very professional friendly service”

The museum showcases an impressive array of exhibitions, from local Māori history to contemporary art, providing insights into the diverse cultural tapestry of the Waikato area. One of the highlights is the museum's focus on Māori heritage, featuring artifacts and stories that celebrate the region's indigenous culture. The interactive exhibits and hands-on activities are particularly enjoyable for families, making learning fun for all ages. In addition to its permanent collections, the museum frequently hosts temporary exhibitions, which adds to the excitement of returning for repeat visits. The layout is spacious and welcoming, with plenty of natural light enhancing the overall experience. The on-site café offers a pleasant spot to relax, with a menu that emphasizes local ingredients. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to provide insights into the exhibits or recommend nearby attractions. Overall, the Waikato Museum is a gem that beautifully reflects the spirit of the region.
