“We had lunch today and everything was delicious and nourishing! They have three sizes of plates, I had the medium which was $12 and it was enough for me, I left feeling super full and happy from eating such a good food in a place with beautiful vibes. Definitely I’ll be back soon!”
“Absolutely the best Japanese restaurant and a real asset for Kaipoi. First time diners and food was magnificent and cooked with precision ,humor and flavors are to die for. Will definitely be back.”
“My son has been the lucky recipient of these meals and he is absolutely loving them. I feel like I am sending him a top quality ready made meal which was made from great chefs! Hes raving about them. I was worried the portions maybe not big enough for a young lad but he has said they are perfect. Thanks heaps and we shall be happy to reorder. Keep up the great work!”
“The vendor is extremely nice greets everyone with such a welcoming nature it really makes you want to come back the servings are large and very value for money!! Best place to get your lunch if you are a tradie!!”
“Great little spot. Grabbed brunch. Decor is clean and bright. Great coffee. Best cheese scone my fellow diner has had and he’s a scone fan. Poached eggs were perfect. Wait wasn’t long at all and they were very busy. Would definitely recommend.”
“I got the BBQ Pork Bun, Mozzarella Cheese Dog, Korean sticky chicken, as well as a lot of Asian snacks. Very affordable, heaps of variety and we saw a lot of trending items like the Pickle in a pouch. The hot food was delicious! Will be back again soon!”
“Delicious! I had the cashew nut stir fry with chicken. It had an awesome taste, and the portion size (a lunch portion mind you) was very generous.”
“Amazing food and great value. We had the red curry paste crispy pork and the crispy salmon and both were excellent. The crispy spring rolls and curry puffs for entrees were very good too. Great service. We really enjoyed dinner here and will definitely return!”

Saket Indian Restaurant - Prebbleton favours a simple, bistro‑style mix with clear, clean flavours. Easy carry‑out for a simple night in. A sensible spend for the spread. Vegetarian picks read as complete plates.
“Delicious! Smash Browns and Chicken Fenders were very tasty and addictive. We felt they were perfectly seasoned, though some might find them a tad too salty depending on your preference. There are plant-based vegan and vegetarian options too. Great for a quick bite before or after flights or while waiting for your rental vehicle nearby. About a 10min walk from the airport terminal. There are boards showing real-time updates of departing and arriving flights. We dropped by for our first meal in the country after flying in, and came again for our final meal before flying off. Plenty of parking outside. Tables are a little sticky, and sometimes the benches during lunch hour have crumbs; could do with more thorough cleaning.”
“We had such a great experience for our New Year’s Eve dinner that we came again for my father in-law’s birthday! The set menu for New Year’s Eve was absolutely delicious! We had the same waitress both times and she made the experience exceptional (her name is Janice from Germany-sorry for not spelling her name correctly). She is a rockstar! When we came for the regular menu, and everything tasted so good! It is a very unique restaurant and wish there were more like this! (The 200 g Canterbury beef fillet is a must! The homemade bread is delicious and so is the soup special)”
“Lovely cafe. Good selection of brunch options including vegan meals. Coffee is also very good. Perfect spot for breakfast/brunch.”
“This bar was decorated really nicely with nice velvet couches, board games and a fireplace. They have a few mixed drink options, we both got martinis. Otherwise they have a lot of whisky. We did ask for other suggestions of drinks but it seemed like we had to stick to the few on the menu. The jam on the martini was really good and a unique garnish!”
“My son and his family lives in Christchurch and he's been talking about this Afgan place and would take us there if we're in Christchurch. A must-try spot in Christchurch! There’s no menu—just walk in and let them know how many people are dining or ordering takeaway. They usually open around 5:30 p.m., and there’s always a long line, so give yourself extra time. The food is simple but absolutely delicious—choose chicken, lamb, or a mix, served with tasty rice and curry. It’s great value for money and always consistent. We ordered 3 servings for 5 people, and it was more than enough. Don’t expect a typical restaurant setup. You get your own drinks, plates, and cutlery. If you're dining in, you can skip the takeaway queue—just find a seat and order at the counter. We always get an extra serving to enjoy for lunch the next day. Tip: Join their Facebook group to check if they’re open. Long wait, but totally worth it!”
“Absolutely delicious pizza and the best calamari I’ve ever had in my life! The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place — you must try it ! ❤️”
“After hearing about this place from friends and seeing the posts online, my partner and i decided we would give it a go. Wow, the staff were lovely, the food was incredible and the vibe was great. They have lots of options to cater to gluten free and dairy free and they aren’t half assing it either, both the tacos and the chicken i had tasted the same as my partners regular non gluten and dairy free food. Spot on guys, we will absolutely be returning!”
“Friendly and attentive staff, yummy food at a decent price, nice view over the estuary. Veggie Grill was an unexpected delight not normally afforded to vegetarians visiting a steakhouse!”
