   It was our first time to dine in CBK Ferrymead and it was amazing. I had their prawn and crab entree, seafoods combo stone grilled and dubai chocolate dessert and all were awesome and I loved it. I also loved the atmosphere as it was cozy. And their service was great, they are welcoming, cheerful and approachable ♥️ I would love to come back again ♥️

1. Barbera Forster (Barb) ★★☆☆☆

   Went here for lunch, wasn’t that busy in the restaurant the whole inside area was empty. Was ignored by the bar staff as soon as we walked in. A lovely waitress then walked past and saw us standing waiting awkwardly and said to take a seat anywhere. Got a drink which arrived quickly and ordered some mushrooms on toasts and fish tacos, which took over 45 minutes to arrive after our drinks. The tacos were nice but small and not worth the wait. We ended up asking how much longer it would take as it had been another 15 minutes since someone said it would be out soon. If they had indicated the kitchen was busy I would understand but the restaurant just lacked customer service and value for money/time spend waiting.

   OUTSTANDING!!! The customer service was outstanding, Shelly was doing my table service and it was my first time here, she made me feel so welcomed, her customer service was the best I've ever had in my life. The food and drinks were outstanding, hot, fresh, and delicious! She was a pleasure to add to our parent's night out! If you are in Christchurch! Come to this wee gem! I promise you won't be disappointed.

   Nice food. Great service. Reason for the 1 * is because several of us were ripped off. Upon paying last night we were charged for a dessert we didn't have. I figured someone forgot to pay for it so whatever. Upon talking today to others in our party they too were charged for items that weren't even ordered. I don't know what's happened here but I can tell you after being ripped off none of us will ever go here again and I strongly suggest anyone that does go triple check what your paying for so you too don't get ripped off or better yet go to an honest restaurant.

   Lovely place & well designed. Double burger was lovely! Had to be cut up, couldn't take a bite altogether, it was tall. Couldn't fault it. On the chips.. some were soft the others needed another minute in the oil. Said to the waiter when he came to check as the other person with me had the same. Honestly thought they would come back with a fresh portion but they didn't. Disappointing. Without the chips, it wasn't worth the cost.
