“On Sunday the 3rd of November I was visiting Auckland from Nelson and went into Mi Piaci for the first time which I was super excited about because I’ve been working at Merchant in Nelson since May. I was so excited because Mi Pi has such a diverse range of products and I felt so welcomed by Saleha when I wanted to try on Tulip and Axel. We had some great conversations about shoes and she was so incredibly helpful to me while also greeting other customers that came in to the store. I think Saleha was very well-dressed for the job which gave us another talking point, the store looked immaculate and if I’m ever in Newmarket again in the future I’d definitely go back and try on/buy some more shoes from this store! Such a fantastic customer experience, walked away purchasing a pair of boots with a huge smile on my face x”

“I went in the store for the first time today, I had never been in before because of the shoes out front I didnt think they would have shoes Id like and because Im in a wheelchair I thought it would be too hard to look at the shoes. I really needed some plain black flat shoes so decided Id just go in to look. I could only afford to spend $20 and told this to the owner, the owner was so very kind and helpful and helped me to find exactly what I needed. I was in a wheelchair and because the shop is full, he did all the searching of the shoes for me so I could try them on and then he helped me to pay! He went above and beyond for me and smaller stores hardly ever do that, 8/10 times they will just sit there and watch as I struggle to look around the store or to gwt the things I need and Ive even been told to hurry to get out of the way, so the fact that he helped me so much blew me away because Ive never had that level of help before!! It made the process EXTREMELY easy and was in and out in probably 10ish minutes!! They sell many, many different kinds of shoes in there, cheap shoes all the way up to branded more expensive shoes! I will 100% return to this store not only to help a small local business but because its obvious that they have good caring hearts and that makes me want to help support them even more!! Thank you so very much for your kindness today, I really do appreciate it!”

“Visited Vans Albany for the 1st time and I was blown away by the level of customer service. Emma and Tait went above and beyond to make sure that I felt welcome and valued as a customer. I had a baby and a toddler with me and they were also very helpful in assisting my toddler try on some shoes whilst I attended to the baby. Good range of styles too in store. Highly recommend! Will definitely be visiting a lot more in the near future.”

“At first I didn't see what I was looking but the sales assistant said he would look for me anyway so I waited. An old dude came out and explained how he could create the shirt in the style I wanted, he pulled a plain shirt off the rack, grabbed some extra material from the back and briefly explained how he would make it look like what I described to him. I agreed, he sized me up and I paid (what I thought was a reasonable price, especially since he was going to make the shirt), 4 days later I pick up a black and gold shirt. Exactly what I had envisioned, and it suited the themed event I attended that weekend. Very affordable, friendly amazing service. Definitely going back in the future.”
