The shop assistants are always friendly and helpful, and they have genuinely nice clothes for those with curves. I had such a great time here over the weekend - what a superb sale! It's my favourite clothes shop in NZ and would definitely recommend you check them out.”

“I've found my experience to be nothing short of exemplary from KW Ponsonby. Not only are their staff incredibly helpful and kind, their service is second to none. I had a very old heirloom from KW jewellery that frankly I was nervous even to ask about enquiring to have repaired (damage to it was entirely my fault and nothing to do with the craftsmanship). Not only was I treated exactly the same way as someone looking to make a new purchase with the same level of follow through and importance, but the price point for the repair was less than half of what I'd been quoted to have it repaired by two other jewelers. Would highly recommend and will absolutely keep purchasing through them. Thanks guys xx”

She also offered to grab the items that I wanted that were in off-site storage (within Sylvia Park but away from the store) during her dinner break as she was manning the store alone, which cut short her personal break. Dana truly went way above and beyond, providing exceptional customer service.”

“Visited Vans Albany for the 1st time and I was blown away by the level of customer service. Emma and Tait went above and beyond to make sure that I felt welcome and valued as a customer. I had a baby and a toddler with me and they were also very helpful in assisting my toddler try on some shoes whilst I attended to the baby. Good range of styles too in store. Highly recommend! Will definitely be visiting a lot more in the near future.”

“I went in the store for the first time today, I had never been in before because of the shoes out front I didnt think they would have shoes Id like and because Im in a wheelchair I thought it would be too hard to look at the shoes. I really needed some plain black flat shoes so decided Id just go in to look. I could only afford to spend $20 and told this to the owner, the owner was so very kind and helpful and helped me to find exactly what I needed. I was in a wheelchair and because the shop is full, he did all the searching of the shoes for me so I could try them on and then he helped me to pay! He went above and beyond for me and smaller stores hardly ever do that, 8/10 times they will just sit there and watch as I struggle to look around the store or to gwt the things I need and Ive even been told to hurry to get out of the way, so the fact that he helped me so much blew me away because Ive never had that level of help before!! It made the process EXTREMELY easy and was in and out in probably 10ish minutes!! They sell many, many different kinds of shoes in there, cheap shoes all the way up to branded more expensive shoes! I will 100% return to this store not only to help a small local business but because its obvious that they have good caring hearts and that makes me want to help support them even more!! Thank you so very much for your kindness today, I really do appreciate it!”

“Note that all the bad reviews seem to be really old :) I had an awesome experience in store today. I'm autistic, and find the mall to be super stressful and overwhelming. Max was by far the most chill shop I went into - the layout is spacious and easy to navigate, quiet music, beautiful products, great sale prices. The lady at the counter was so helpful and friendly too, without being in your face about it. 10/10 recommend shopping here!”
