   I purchased the Florentine Loafer 13.05.24 and 9 months later this is what my $300 pair of shoes look like. Soles on both shoes fallen out, the platform absolutely cracked and spilt on both sides of the shoe. They are falling apart despite looking after them very well. They are unwearable. I took them back into Mi Piaci Sylvia Park and they got sent to the New Market store for Marvin to inspect them to see if they were faulty as I was told this shouldn’t of happened and isn’t common, once he sent them back to Sylvia Park I was told I would only get 30% credit back due to them being worn in a “commercial kitchen” which is absolutely wrong. Marvin wrote this down upon his own assumptions without bothering to contact or ask me, therefore barely getting anything in return. I expected a lot more when I spent $300 on a brand that is supposed to be “good”. I’m so disappointed with this and how Marvin handled everything, very unprofessional. For your information Marvin I do not work in a commercial kitchen nor have I ever stepped foot in a kitchen with these shoes on. If I cannot wear these shoes 5/7 days of the week please let me know what these shoes are made for and why they are valued at $300 when they won’t even last close to one year? I expected a lot more.

   On Sunday the 3rd of November I was visiting Auckland from Nelson and went into Mi Piaci for the first time which I was super excited about because I’ve been working at Merchant in Nelson since May. I was so excited because Mi Pi has such a diverse range of products and I felt so welcomed by Saleha when I wanted to try on Tulip and Axel. We had some great conversations about shoes and she was so incredibly helpful to me while also greeting other customers that came in to the store. I think Saleha was very well-dressed for the job which gave us another talking point, the store looked immaculate and if I’m ever in Newmarket again in the future I’d definitely go back and try on/buy some more shoes from this store! Such a fantastic customer experience, walked away purchasing a pair of boots with a huge smile on my face x

   FED UP !!! Bought sandals 7 Feb. Yes they are a lovely style and comfortable but the leather split at the sides after a couple of weeks wear and according to Mi Piaci can’t be repaired. Took time off work to pick up replacement, received off-hand service from the manager, then found the pair I was given, on closer inspection, had leather faults on the front straps. Reassured that this wasn’t a manufacture fault with this style and just bad luck….I tried again! Time off work once more to get to a post office to send the 2nd pair back: not worn. Third pair looked fine but worn twice and the same fault. Flabbergasted that the expectation is that I package them up and once again find time to post them back before I get a refund!!! Have expressed expectation that a prepaid courier bag is delivered to my address if they wish them returned, but now stalling over my address which has been given a number of times…. never mind any apology for 4 months of inconvenience and drama. Shabby service Mi Piaci. The sandal is called TRUFFLE and is still for sale full price. Please return when the side walls split.

   Bought a pair of sandals which had a strap failure the first time I wore them. Took them back to Mi Piaci in 277 - very helpful and polite sales assistants who didn't bat an eye, walked me over to the Merchant store nearby and lined me up with the inhouse Cobbler there who had the spare parts needed and also further secured the straps. Excellent follow service despite the product failure - still feel it rates 5 stars
