“I absolutely love the teachers and the environment. I feel like I am leaving my baby with motherly figures who are so awesome in what they do. I have seen my baby growing up and achieving his milestones. Love every teacher in the center who do their best to help my baby. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.”
“I wanted to take a moment to share my deep appreciation for the wonderful care and support you’ve provided to my children. It’s been so reassuring to know that they are not only in a safe and nurturing environment but also thriving in their personal development. Over the time they’ve been with you, I’ve noticed such growth in their confidence, communication skills, and emotional maturity. The activities, routines, and individual attention you give them have had a lasting impact, and they’ve learned so much under your guidance. It’s evident that the team is dedicated to fostering a positive and well-rounded environment for the children, and I can’t thank you enough for that. I am truly grateful for everything you do to help my children grow. Thank you for being such an integral part of their development and well-being.”
“I'm just so impressed with the service and care that we are getting from this centre. My daughter is a very introverted girl who was very shy to teachers and kids, and she just needed extra time to get use to the environment and the new people around her when first enrolled, but I really appreciate the teachers that they never give up on my girl, they keep encouraging my daughter to participate, try new things, and see her grow, letting her know that she's safe in this centre and that she's always welcomed. Every piece of work they do at the centre is so meaningful helping my daughter to learn and grow. Whenever I go pick her up now she's always not willing to leave and that she would share a lot with me on the way home about what she has done for the day. I really cant appreciate more, thank you so much to all the teachers. I would definately recommend this centre to those that are still trying to look for a daycare.”
“I couldn't be happier with this childcare. My eldest son started when he was 6months , and now he is 4.5yrs. These last 4 years I have had the joy and privilege to see what an amazing person he's becoming and I do give a lot of credit to the teachers and caregivers here. So it was a super easy decision to enrol my second son here as well. He too started at 6 months. The teachers here are so wonderful, caring and the boys feel so safe and loved here. I also love the fact that they have an inhouse chef that prepares these lovely meals for the kids. I would highly recommend Your Place childcare.”
“This is my first MMA gym have been training here for a while now, coaches are super helpful the gym they have does not disappoint and the bags and rings are great to use. 100% would recommend!”
“Very fun and versatile playground in large size. Flying fox, huge rope swing, mini trampoline, gym equips, rope climbing, sand pitch, kids water pumps and lake view etc. Always spend lots time after Costco visits - only thing is quite windy mostly”
“Wonderful Community Theatre inSouth South Auckland. A strong team of dedicated Theatre Lovers producing great shows that are full of fun. They are Super welcoming and friendly and make you feel part of the family.”
“Friendly atmosphere. Excellent show. Starts slow then quickly builds into hilarious mayham.”
“Very supportive peers and close knit community. Highly recommend the Camaraderie shared by the Oliver South team, they do a lot with what they have. The Gym doesn’t have a designated wrestling or Judo coach anymore. but the committed pupils under the then trainers have kept the fundamentals and continue to improve and implement wrestling and judo techniques into the MMA sessions. A lot of the NO-Gi classes have wrestling drills implemented into it as a foundation. Watch this space for up and coming talents as the team looks to nurture South Auckland’s future martial arts high-performers. Not to be overly unbiased, resistance training room is outdated and some of the striking gear are miss matched. But nonetheless accommodates for those who don’t bring their own gear. The kids classes are well taken care of both in equipment and teachers.”
“A very good dance studio. Great floor, though the far left corner is a bit patched. The interior looks and feel posh. The mirror is huge. A very great place to learn & practice your dance.”
“Best place in Auckland to work out. Awesome friendly staff. Amazing coffee. Highly recommend. Cheers Barrington”
“I absolutely love training at Snap Fitness Henderson it's my go‑to gym in West Auckland! The vibe is welcoming and full of energy, and the equipment is always topnotch and well maintained. The moment I walk through the door, the staff greet me with genuine enthusiasm, and the environment genuinely feels like a community. A huge shout‑out to Mikhael, the manager, whose warm, helpful approach always puts me instantly at ease. If you’re after a friendly, supportive place to work out, Snap Fitness Henderson is absolutely the one!”
“I recieved an excellent service here..they patiently worked though my questions and poor terminology and helped me pick the right parts for my vehicle. I thoroughly recommend using Basis and I'm really glad I've found this place for future bits i need.”
“Russian bakery!! Honey cake is blowing my mind…. Light and not as sweet as I thought… Pistachio cake is the one you have to try!! It’s basically dacquoise with crunchy pistachios instead of almond, cream filling.… I have tried chicken liver pie, it also delicious. Nice combination with liver and veg, well seasoned. In general everything is above my expectations. I will definitely come back soon for other choices of pie!!”
“We went to the Billy Joel show on Saturday evening. It was absolutely superb - the quality of the musicians and singers far exceeded our expectations. The added bonus of a "supper" was a treat. This group should tour the country and beyond with this show. Great energy.”
“Was Girls and Boys worth getting stuck in hour long traffic - absolutely. Simplistic yet effective staging and lighting were transformative and poignant. The dialogue sharp and witty with the lead actress blazing through a series of difficult emotions and heavy themes with flexibility and tastefulness. I'm not normally one for a one woman show - but what a show it was!”
“My two daughters have been practicing in Neverland over two years. We love this place. Nice environment and friendly staffs. And the end of year show is fantastic. We will definitely continue our dance journey in Neverland.”
“These guys did an incredible job at our Cancer Society fundraising event. Would recommend them to anyone. SO much fun, our participants loved it!”
“Nice, friendly dance school, my daughter loves it!”
“My 9-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Drawing & Sketching class (Tue 3:45-5:15) with Maree. Learning to depict objects with pencil sketching added a technical dimension to her artistic skills. It was a great class for a 9-year-old who loves drawing, providing more advanced content rather than simplistic children's drawings. This class is highly recommended for kids who love drawing and want to boost their skills.”
“Professional and friendly classes to do tricking and parkour style gymnastics. My son is improving so much physically & mentally and made lots of good quality friends. Highly recommend”
“We went to St Pauls went it was at its peak in the 70s. A diverse range of students from all the Croatian kids from West Auckland to boarders from all over the region. Lots of locals kids from Ponsonby, Grey Lynn and Pt Chev .The brothers were very strict and a caning was a distinct probability if you played up .”
“Great theatre. Good play and d acting. Very comfortable”
“Lovely intimate theatre. The quality of the play I saw there (Grand Horizons) was fantastic. The set design was incredible and the acting was practically professional level. The price of the ticket was very reasonable, and there is a bar that you can buy drinks and snacks from. A great night out, would highly recommend.”
“My daughter has been going to Kip McGrath for the last 3 years, starting in her last year of primary school. We wanted her to receive consistent tuition, tailored to her needs in the run-up to high school. Kip has boosted her confidence and helped us gain a more complete picture of her strengths and work-ons so we can help her achieve. Wanda the centre manager has been a great support, taking the time to explain school curricula, levels of achievement, assessments, and working with our daighter to bring the best out of her. Going to Kip has been an empowering experience for us all.”
