“I’ve trained here almost 9 months now, walking in as an absolute beginner with no previous martial arts or combat sport experience. My body has changed significantly, and I have definition in my muscles for the first time in my life. My cardio has improved significantly. Sime is an excellent coach, and so patient with myself (slow learner) and my roudy kids. I highly commend him for that. He definitely knows what he’s doing. I feel safe and supported in this learning environment and confident to go at my own pace. I’ve witnessed many of the fighters compete and win Golds multiple times, thanks to Sime and his coaching. The community at Eastside Grapplers has become like family to my kids and I due to the family friendly vibes. My kids enjoy training here as well and have made so many friends! The gym itself is clean and hygienic. Close to home, and affordable for my family and I. I’ve introduced this gym to my friends and cousins and would absolutely recommend to trial a class to others.”

“My daughter is very happy here and has made some good friends. Her carers are friendly and approachable and the centre is willing to invite feedback and improve services to help foster development at every stage. There is a great outdoor play area at the centre, as it's an older building and has a bit more space. I would also give credit to the events the centre plans and the level of effort that goes into bringing families together.”

“As a professional dancer from the U.S. I flew to Auckland to come here to train. This place is made for people who are professional or people who want to dance recreationally. This is the place to be for dance. This place will not only contribute to you as an artist but classes are taught by people that are very knowledgeable about what they are teaching. Also this studio constantly has professional opportunities for staff and students. This place is next level.”

“My grandchildren went through this kindy and absolutely loved it. It has the best teachers who are highly professional, approachable and kind. Everyone of them has a true passion for what they do. It is a very welcoming and inclusive place; they nutured my grandchildren in all different aspects of their little lives. We found it to be a very supportive and community focused kindergarten that allowed everyone to be accepted for who they are. The values that the kindy teaches are really just common sense values (having empathy, showing kindness and respect for others) this is clearly seen in both the teachers and the children when you are there. “Our son and daughter both love the staff and children at ROCC. The team create a fun nurturing safe environment for the kids to learn and explore. Love that the kids are encouraged to be active, use their imaginations and get messy. The staff and management team are extremely open, flexible and supportive. We often need to change days or increase or decrease due to our schedules and they team are always so accommodating.”

“Best day care! All the staff are lovely. The atmosphere is welcoming. I've had 2 kids enrolled here. One has gone to school now and my second leaves in December. I literally just picked up enrollment forms to enroll my 1year old here. If you're looking for a daycare I highly recommend this one. It's hard to find a daycare where you feel safe to leave your kids. I've had my older 2 enrolled at 3 daycares before I found this one. My kids have become more confident within themselves, they enjoy/ed going to daycare and my one currently still going just adores her teachers. So yes highly recommend :)”

“Entered the gym having no experience in any fighting styles whatsoever, however Jake not only made me feel incredible welcome and supported at the gym but taught me several fighting techniques in an comprehensive & detailed manner. NFS heavily encourages personal growth outside of the gym, and Jake & Co. have cultivated an environment where being a genuine & authentic person is first and foremost. NFS is so much more than a kickboxing gym, cannot recommend enough!”

“This was the first and only Kindergarten we looked at for our oldest boy. We instantly felt welcomed by all the amazing teachers who helped our son settle in quickly. Their get ready for school programme has proved outstanding as our son transitioned seamlessly into school life. The entire team at Gardner Road are empathetic, fair and show a great love and passion for what they do. There is a strong sense of community within the Kindy too. We cannot wait for our two little ones to turn 3 so they can attend Gardner Road too.”

“Just Kidz have been such a friendly and welcoming daycare for my daughter. She has been there for over a year now and loves it. The teachers put in so much effort with all the activites they put on for the kids to help them grow and learn. “Mina's a truly exceptional piano teacher. Her ability to connect with young children is remarkable. When my son, Alex, first started lessons at age 5, Mina's patience and understanding made learning fun. She's always encouraging, pushing him to reach his full potential while considering his age and developmental stage. I appreciate how Mina prepares concerts twice a year. These performances provide invaluable stage experience, helping Alex build confidence and overcome any performance anxiety. Her ability to tailor the lessons to Alex's interests is a huge plus. By incorporating pieces he enjoys, she's fostered a genuine love of music and playing the piano. I wholeheartedly recommend Mina as a piano teacher. Not only has she taught Alex piano skills, but she's also helped him grow as a person. Her dedication, expertise, and caring nature make her an outstanding instructor.”
