“One of the best sushi places in Auckland. The ingredients are fresh and in generous portions, and there's a great selection of flavours. The tables in the courtyard are fabulous to sit in the sun and people watch. Would recommend.”
“Wow! First time getting sushi from here today as just started working in the area and all I can say is AMAZING! So fresh and clean and lots of great options! Will definitely be back for more.”
“SCORE: 85/100 I saw that Due Amici had a lot of positive reviews in Google, so I gave this a go. Booked a day before for two and had no problems. They were extremely busy, which reflects their ratings clearly. Had their signature pizza, which was great and a pasta dish I forget the name of. Both were great. I would definitely go back and try more from their menu. Highly recommend.”
“After reading and hearing all the amazing feedback from the local community, I had to try a Burger and Chips. The Chicken Burger was Huge and full of Real ingredients, I went with the Chicken Aloha Burger. The seasoning was perfect, the flavor combinations with bacon and pineapple were exciting and filling! *Real Chicken lovely and Tender, the salad components all fresh and crispy. I couldn't finish all the chips myself, the aoli sauce just topped it all off well. Highly Recommend!! If your passing through Hellensville, pop in and try one of their meals. Delicious and Fresh !!”
“Really delicious food and great quantity sizes. Will definitely try make this a regular place to eat!”
“My wife and I had a great dinner at Okome. The food was delicious with an authentic taste that reminded us of our holiday in Japan. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. In summary it was a very pleasant experience.”
“Amazing fantastic tiny pizza. And real delicious loaded fries. So good. Great service”
“Great service and food. Would definitely come back”
“Loved this place. Food is so tasty. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. I was over visiting New Zealand and he was made sure I had a great meal. Fantastic service and again the food is delicious. Located at East Ridge Eatery which allows groups to choose from different restaurants but still sit together.”
“Celebrated our wedding anniversary and did not disappoint. Every food is delicious and the customer service is superb. We will surely recommend and come back again ❤️❤️”
“We have loved the vibe, the food and the service ! Small place with a great and friendly service. Waiter were good adviser. Food really interesting, different and delicious! Thank you, it's been a while I didn't enjoy that much to go to a restaurant and both enjoy the experience and the food! Great job!”
“True authentic Italian with great service and atmosphere. The pizzas were delicious and the lemon cello & tiramisu is a must! We would certainly return - fair price and no complaints! Would recommend booking as it’s quite a small restaurant”
“Regarded as one of the top three Italian restaurants in North Shore, this Trattoria does not fail to impress. I recently brought my parents for the first time here, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The spacious dining area, complete with offerings like gelato, formaggio, salumi, and il pasticcino, sets the stage for an authentic Italian feast. The service, professional and like a well-oiled machine, only adds to the charm. We indulged in the Leek and Potato Soup, Capresina, Spaghetti Alle Vongole, Tiramisu, and Tiramisu Eclair. The Capresina was a standout, generously topped with premium Burrata and Parma Ham. The Spaghetti Alle Vongole was a revelation—fresh pasta, perfectly cooked clams, and a symphony of flavours that made it the best I’ve ever had. To top it off, their Tiramisu is flawless. The prices are more than fair for the quality and craftsmanship of the dishes. Practicalities? Plenty of parking and a grocery shop next door make it a win-win. My advice? Just go. You won’t regret it.”
“One of the best authentic Napolitan pizza/calzzone you can have in Auckland. We ordered the Diego Armando pizza and a Napolitano Calzzone. AMAZING. 10/10”
“Best ramen around, lovely staff, no complaints at all, very well priced.”
“Culprit had been on our must-try list for a while, thanks to its reputation for contemporary New Zealand cuisine. We finally got the chance to experience it for our wedding anniversary dinner—and it did not disappoint! We opted for the seasonal menu with wine pairings and couldn’t resist adding a Culprit classic as well. Every bite was a delight. Truly loved it! The restaurant’s soft music, stylish décor, and gentle lighting created the perfect romantic and relaxing atmosphere. A big thank you to the professional and friendly staff who made our evening even more special. Keep up the amazing work! Culprit has officially earned a spot as one of our favourite date night spots in Auckland CBD.”
“This Japanese restaurant in Newmarket is such a delightful gem, offering you delicious menu with high quality ingredients with authentic flavours. The chef is amazing, she cooks succulent chicken with a healthy mix of tsukemono and options to choose purple rice. Even their miso soup comes with chopped tofu. They change their tsukemono on different days. So far the karaage chicken and teriyaki chicken are delicious, feels like a hearty Japanese home cooking. Give them a whirl — just across the Newmarket train station!”
“A hidden gem that serves up some fantastic ramen and other dishes. Went here with my fiancée to grab some ramen and katsu after a long day of adventures and hikes. They are in a rather odd location, a warehouse district with no discerning signs of a restaurant in the heart of it. However if you have the drive it has definitely worth a stop. Staff is super friendly and dishes come out piping hot. Would just mention that there isn’t a ton of seating inside and outside so larger parties may run into some obstacles there. However a more intimate dinner date is easy.”
“# Amazing pizza# Must try the special truffle pizza, actually 45 is not cheap, but worth it! Special menu like a gift, everyone is perfect including the drink. If you are first time to there like me,just talk to the friendly staff, believe their recommends.”
“The best pizza I’ve ever had in akl. We had half and half of spicy Italian sausage and meatballs pizza. Staff was really friendly and theirs service is phenomenal. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic pizza.”
“Best pizza place in Auckland by far. Crust 5/5 Killer crust. Perfect thickness and crunch too it. Passed the flop test when you hold it. Sauce 5/5 Both their white and red sauce are amazing. Complements all the other ingredients and the base very well. Toppings 5/5 Great ingredients. You can tell the pizza is going to be great even before you bite. Vibes 5/5 Cool bunch of people. Last recommendation - if you can, eat there so you can have the pizza when it come right out of the oven.”
“food was SO good. everything was good. shocked by how good the fries were - absolutely jaw dropping. everything on the dessert menu is such a slay - my fave was the sesame ice cream. lovely ambience, had a lovely dining experience. photo attached for proof that everything was DEVOURED”
“Very nice pizzas, they taste just like what you would get in Italy, which is a rare find in NZ! They also have a vegan cheese option and the dough is vegan, as it should be. The owner is friendly and it was nice chatting to him. Highly recommended!”
“Sorry for the photo of the half eaten pizzas but we were hungry! Very impressed by the pizzas we ordered, The Prosciutto and The Delhi Chicken. Great tasting classic pizzas. All 5 eaters were very happy.”
“I had the distinct pleasure of eating at Di Vino Bistro for the first time. It was a most wonderful experience, the service was amazing, the food incredible and the price very reasonable.”
“Just picked up two pizzas. Great taste, Way more nicer flavours than dominos. Sadly not much business going on. i would like to suggest trying to hand out vouchers to nearby neighbourhood and put a sign side way on top of the door. when driving pass, couldn't really see this is a pizza place. other than that, i would recommend to others. Thanks”
“It is a cozy restaurant with lovely staffs and I had very nice lunch time there. The pizza made from daily fresh dough,so it had an elastic、 crispy and tender crust, aromatic toppings. They use their original in-house sauce with rich taste. These are completely different from pre-finished meals which are served in other restaurants. Meatballs、BBQ Bacon pizza and Risotto di Pollo are amazed me,if you come here you should try them.”
“Had dinner here and the steak was absolutely divine. The lovely staff guided us with how to prepare it and the saké pairing was just perfect. Would definitely go back again”
“Came to Meadowbank Pizzeria for dinner tonight. Got a Gormet Special pizza. It was amazing. probably one of the nicest pizzas I've had since going to Italy. Anchovies, capers amd olives were plentiful, and the roasted garlic made the whole thing pop. Would definitely return here next time I'm in Auckland.”
