Highly recommend the grilled meats here, especially the beef — perfectly cooked and super juicy! I’d suggest going for medium rare for the best flavor. Their signature Kika sauce is also amazing and goes perfectly with the meat. Definitely a must-try spot!
Meh.. wasn’t impressed hair in the food but my partner didn’t want me to say anything coz he was embarrassed. Flavour wasn’t all there a really I don’t think was worth $80 atmosphere just wasn’t it. Head to the one in the north shore much better option. just wasn’t happy with the Henderson one. Stuff were nice and all on approach however they don’t come ask if everything’s allrite quite stand offish. Rice is flavourless went to waste
The servers here didn’t manage a single smile during our visit, which was disappointing. I used to really like this restaurant—this is actually my fourth time dining here—but this experience left me quite let down. The service was just average, which I could accept, but we ordered medium doneness and the steak we got was clearly not medium. On top of that, the cut was full of sinew and very difficult to chew. The seasoning was also inconsistent: the steak and mashed potatoes had uneven salt distribution, making some bites too salty and others bland. It really affected the overall taste. And unfortunately, the serving speed was just as slow as always.
Visited with our family and the service was good. Staff were friendly and prompt and the ambience was intimate but lovely. A cute little spot. Portion sizes are good for the amount of us but I hoped the sides were a little bigger. My favourite dish was the mash with the mushroom sauce and chichurri sauce! However, unfortunately most of our steak meats were very chewy and hard to eat. Some were cooked to perfection, others too rare and hard to chew. Pork belly was dry and overcooked but the lamb was nice. We got 3x 4person platters and it was enough for 9 Poly adults and 2 kids.
Amazing food. Typical Brazilian bbq style food. We were 12 of us and had 3 X 4 meat platters. Everything was amazing cooking to perfection. The lamb was the best, simply succulent and juicy. The fried cassava was fantastic and so were the huge portion of fries. Will be back!!
Recommended by some friends and would definitely recommend to everyone. Meat was terrific. We got picanha and short rib on Sunday menu. The portions are big and at an incredible value. Love, love, love!
What an amazing experience first time here after searching google for meat and it pointed us here after reading reviews and finding it on instagram we knew we had to give it a go with miserable weather in Auckland today as soon as we walked in we were greeted by a lovely lady who seated us to a table it was very cozy inside and we were lucky enough to be the only 2 people besides another couple dining in We ordered the sharing plate for 4 being Samoan we are big eaters and thought we would go for the sharing plate for 4 ($95) instead of 2 ($65) with in a space of 5mins the place was packed with no tables left to spare my word out of nowhere the place was buzzing with people We received our meal and I was gobsmacked realising how big the plate was the first bite of the steak was delicious every single meat (you get a choice of 4) was cooked perfectly the creamy mushroom sauce was to die for as well as the kikas sauce absolutely mouth watering (you get a choice of 2 sauces) Kudos to the chef and the lovely waitress as well as everyone working today. The customer service was amazing, a very friendly and welcoming place to dine. I would definitely visit again thank you. Highly recommend to others who are after an authentic Brazilian feed a place where food is packed with flavour and where quantity and quality actually exists !!
Super delicious food. We love combination of meat plater for 4 and chips. So yummy. Should give them ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We will be back. Thank you the chef's for small birthday cake. Staff so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Underrated spot in henderson. The portions and quality of meat were amazing. The owner was very welcoming and helpful with the menus. He was even kind enough to give us a dessert when we mentioned it was a birthday dinner. We will definitely be back.
