“I run a sport and movement programme for the children at New Shoots Hillcrest and have loved working with the centre, their staff and children. The staff always do the utmost to ensure the children's needs are met and they are well cared for and I can see the strong relationships and nurturing bonds built between staff and child to allow them to thrive and grow in the environment. The facilities are great and enable the children to express themselves both indoors and outdoors and build friendships with the children in their respective rooms.”

“We went to St Pauls went it was at its peak in the 70s. A diverse range of students from all the Croatian kids from West Auckland to boarders from all over the region. Lots of locals kids from Ponsonby, Grey Lynn and Pt Chev .The brothers were very strict and a caning was a distinct probability if you played up .”

“I joined BumpYoga when I was just about in my third trimester of pregnancy and returned when my baby was 2 months old for Baby Massage, then continued with Mums and Bubs Pilates. Jana is absolutely wonderful, her classes are fun, supportive, appropriate for mums pre and postpartum and my baby loves her. I have become stronger than I ever thought I would be 10 months after a C Section and I have Jana to thank. Highly recommend her classes to anyone I meet!”

“I really like this school. My child is well taken care of here. The receptionist, Michelle, is very friendly and always responds promptly to any questions or concerns. The teachers at the school are patient and loving towards the children. I can see my child's different growth through the Montessori learning method. The school is also very attentive, which makes me very satisfied.”

Working with rhythms of the day and the week, and seasonal cycles of the year, they support our children in forming a deep relationship to nature, and in the process discover who they are and their place in the world. “My son loves going to Active Explorer Central Park! Educators are very kind and caring, regular updates with photos and daily updates on children's activity book have built my confidence in this centre and trust pretty quickly. My son asks me every day to take him there, he has so much fun! He surprises me with new social skills every time and has made lovely bunch of little friends that make a party every time they see him come. When I drop him off he doesn't even want to waive good bye and when I pick him he wants to stay around!”

“Best centre in the heart of Papakura and I highly recommend this kindy. First day visit to the centre and I already 100% thankful that I step foot in this centre. All staff are friendly and family orientated. They took extra mile and went beyond measure to meet the needs of the children even though all children has different needs. I love this centre is very clean and tidy and they accommodate the children to the best of their ability and making sure that all children are safe and happy. “I'm just so impressed with the service and care that we are getting from this centre. My daughter is a very introverted girl who was very shy to teachers and kids, and she just needed extra time to get use to the environment and the new people around her when first enrolled, but I really appreciate the teachers that they never give up on my girl, they keep encouraging my daughter to participate, try new things, and see her grow, letting her know that she's safe in this centre and that she's always welcomed. Every piece of work they do at the centre is so meaningful helping my daughter to learn and grow. Whenever I go pick her up now she's always not willing to leave and that she would share a lot with me on the way home about what she has done for the day. I really cant appreciate more, thank you so much to all the teachers. I would definately recommend this centre to those that are still trying to look for a daycare.”

“My daughter loves to stay in palms preschool. She really had fun playing with her friends. It’s a nice daycare, they had heaps of activities for the children where my daughter improves her self esteem. For 6 months of stay, She learns a lot like her communication skills. She is now confident in communicating to other people around her and also for being independent. I was so amazed watching my daughter growing, She really improves a lot. For me as a mother, choosing the nice daycare for your child is important since it will be their second home. I was also amazed the teachers, very passionate in teaching not only in education but also the good values. It is highly recommended.”

“A clean and tidy center where you want to send your kids. The most important thing to about this center is that the teachers are very supportive of your child’s need in terms of knowledge enrichment. The center has loads of activities included in their curriculum to educate kids about front line workers, festivals, diversity, and other important dates. The center is diverse culturally and neurodiverse too. That being said, they listen to parents and note the goals for your child and work towards accomplishing those goals. Definitely recommend and one of the best centers in south Auckland.”
