    Alexandra Park Function Centre

    ★★★★☆ 4.3
    Open

“Fantastic venue with amazing views out over the race track. The buffet was amazing, all of the food was beautifully cooked and the meat was incredibly tender. The staff were professional and polite and did a good job of clearing the tables between trips. The only issue was that the space between tables and space between places on the table were both quite tight, so plan to sit at the end of the table if you intend to make frequent trips to the buffet or TAB counter”

“A BIG thank you to all the staff at Waipuna Hotel who took such wonderful care of my kids during their 4-day stay. They were so happy with the room, and we could truly feel the friendliness and kindness from everyone they met. I had a few requests for the Reservation Manager, and it was clear that every detail was looked after with care. We are really grateful for the effort and hospitality – it gave us great peace of mind and made their stay very special. Highly recommend Waipuna Hotel for anyone looking for a place with comfort, warmth, and genuine service. :)”

“My daughter has been attending Wee Wisdom Montessori Drury since November 2024, and previous to her joining she had been enrolled to several other daycares, kindergarten etc and not one of those centres did she enjoy more than she enjoys Wee Wisdom! I am so proud, relieved and happy that I have finally found a centre that caters to my daughter’s skills and abilities but more so encourages their children on how to become their own independent person! I have so much respect for the teachers they have been such a huge support to myself and whanau during the time we have been at Wee. A huge NGA MIHI to the teachers of Nido! Thank you for making the transition for myself and my son who has just started such an easy and comfortable process! I appreciate you all for caring, nurturing and educating my babies! I am confident to say that I absolutely recommend Wee Wisdom Montessori Drury! Nga Mihi Nui ki a kaiako ō Wee Wisdom Montessori he aroha mutunga kore!”

“My son Connor attended the centre for 3 years and loved his time. He loved all his teachers esp Amanda, Carol, Amy D, Shant, Shikha and Tonya. The care, attention, professionalism and love he received was amazing. He loved mat times and show and tell. His preparedness for school was outstanding and although he didn’t want to leave his friends and teachers he was ready to attend school with his letter writing, numeracy and problem solving skills. The centre is tidy and he loved playing in the sandpit with his friends. Thank you to team Best Start Waiata Shores!”
