Very tidy welcoming atmosphere. Comfortable beds, lovely staff and the food from the hotel was delicious. Also has an excellent gym and tidy pool. The outlook over the lagoon was beautiful. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
This hotel is wonderful. Cleanliness is 5star. Spacious room. Spacious bathroom with bathtub. Friendly & helpful staff. Plenty parking and parking is FREE. BREAKFAST : was good. Not plenty choices but overall we enjoyed. Definitely i will come back and stay here. But only one minus point is, they dont have a luggage weight machine. Should have one for customer's convenience.
Very clean and tidy venue, it's my second time staying here. My only real criticism would be the price of the drinks at the bar. Seemed way in excess for the facility. Breakfast is also a bit average. Would be nice to have crispy bacon cooked fresh and fresh egg options.
Awesome facility, great location, easy to find. Lots of parking, easy check in/check out. Lovely spacious room, very clean and tidy. Beds were extremely comfortable and had a great sleep in them. The restaurant was buffet style and went there for dinner and breakfast. $50 an adult for dinner and $12 for children 3-6 (under 3 free!) which was definitely value for money. We would have spent that much and more on uber eats. The dishes were fresh and tasted like home cooked meals- a real treat after travelling all day long. It was probably the yummiest pasta I’ve ever eaten in my life! Service from the team was exceptional and they were polite and helpful. Breakfast the next day was just as good. So much variety, fresh and tasty, and excellent service once again. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and are keen to stay again next time we are in Auckland.
A BIG thank you to all the staff at Waipuna Hotel who took such wonderful care of my kids during their 4-day stay. They were so happy with the room, and we could truly feel the friendliness and kindness from everyone they met. I had a few requests for the Reservation Manager, and it was clear that every detail was looked after with care. We are really grateful for the effort and hospitality – it gave us great peace of mind and made their stay very special. Highly recommend Waipuna Hotel for anyone looking for a place with comfort, warmth, and genuine service. :)
Was working a private event the staff were awesome and food was great. Awesome to see the place coming back to its former glory
Two night stay,comfortable beds loved the shower and bath, a safe is in the room for your valueables, two large queen sized beds, a comfortable chair and foot stool if you just want to relax and read a book. What is different the room is not tended to everyday its every 3 days, if you require clean towels every day just ring reception, kitchenette, different faucet for your drinking water in the bathroom. Beautiful restaurant and bar facilities with a lake view, gym and spa available.
I was here for a conference so the rooms I am rating are conference facilities not the hotel bedrooms. The conference rooms are very well equipped and maintained. The catering was brilliant, tasty food and plenty of it. Tons of fresh coffee too. The free pads & pens always a bonus, good sound systems. I did not photograph them but the gardens were lush and well cared for, and it was spacious. The view is brilliant and tons of parking.
Five stars for customer service! Chetan and his team on the front desk, were incredibly helpful and bent over backwards to accommodate us. Ended up bringing our 5 month old baby along, they upgraded us to a family friendly room, were always available to help and offer advice. We will be staying here again purely because of their warmth and service. Bar staff were friendly and had great banter. Pillows were super uncomfortable, I'm sure the staff would have changed them out if we ask but we had imposed enough so we let things be. Thanks you Chetan and team!
