“Had a wonderful experience today at Escapade! They had a variety of options to choose from for escape rooms. We went into the Old School 2 and had a blast. You’re able to either walk in or book in advance, with plenty of times available. The staff were super friendly and made the experience even better! I’m definitely going to return.”

“My daughter Akane Andrea loved every minute with all teachers and little friends. While trusting somebody with your little precious prince or princess wellbeing when you not there can prove challenhimg for some, I knew mine was safe and happy when every morning I was asked with passion if today was a school day. Can they do better? Sure, everybody can. Do they give 100% to ensure all kids are looked after, feel safe and loved? They do. There wasn't any day I was worried while she was at school and this, if you knew me or my wife, says it all!”

“After a long search we finally settled on sending our 20 month old to Creative Minds and we are stoked with our decision to send her here. The center has such a lovely, welcoming vibe and all the children looked really happy and confident. Jodie’s calm, experienced approach helps ease the littlies into a great routine. Shabana is an excellent, hands-on manager who puts your mind at ease and knows exactly what each child has been up to. The carers are all wonderful, especially Gemma, Latiesha and Lisa, who are always smiling and make drop-offs a breeze. Creative Minds may not bombard us with constant app updates, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. The team is so focused on giving our girl their full attention—they’re present, caring, and genuinely engaged. We never feel like we’re missing out because they always take the time to chat and share what she’s been up to. Our daughter comes home happy, well-fed, and bubbling with excitement. We low-key want to keep this place to ourselves — but the team works so hard and deserves every bit of recognition. Thank you, Creative Minds for creating such a special space!”

“Attended a wedding reception at Markovina Vineyard Estate in late autumn. Although there was a bit of drizzle, the venue was a good size and handled the weather well. The estate was beautifully maintained and professionally decorated. Catering quality depends on the hosts' budget, but in our case it was good to great. Did not include photos with people for privacy reasons, but you can get a better idea of the venue from other photos online. A lovely place for a special occasion.”

“We had so much fun and they allowed us to start at same time as we had to have two groups. Was a little bit hot. Don't be too cocky before you start...we didn't make it and the boys beat the girls. Awesome fun though”

“Little Wings is an absolute dream daycare: lovely, clean indoor/outdoor spaces, dedicated staff who really care for the children, and healthy food. Our baby has thrived there and we feel happy leaving him in their capable hands. I was so anxious about going back to work and they have helped enormously.”

“Best ECE /Kindergarten in New Zealand. Anchorage Park Kindergarten is the heart and soul of the community. The highly qualified teachers not only provide an amazing space and experience and love for my little ones, but genuinely care about our family as a whole. They catered to the special needs of my children, willing to adapt and try new things to help my children thrive. When new to the area they connected us with other families that have grown into lasting friendships for my children and us as parents. When my spouse went through a mental crisis I felt love and support for our family from them. They connected us to resources and support I couldn't have found on my own. They inquire about my older children, and remember their names despite years gone past since they were at kindy. They supported me in getting back into work. This wonderful team at Anchorage Park Kindergarten cultivates the space for my children to grow, and fosters a loving community so that I, as a parent, grow too.”

“First and foremost the educators at Magic Kingdom in Blockhouse Bay are the most wonderful, genuinely caring nurturers. My little ‘pandemic baby’ had a total of three play dates before starting daycare at 11 months old and they made they transition for him (and me!) a positive and stress free experience. The core values and beliefs of Magic Kingdom align to my own as a parent, and knowing that my child is receiving a quality education based on those principles is important. I feel that the educators are just as invested in my child’s growth as a whole person, as I am. I couldn’t ask for anything more, and would highly recommend Magic Kingdom to anyone looking for childcare.”

“I really like this school. My child is well taken care of here. The receptionist, Michelle, is very friendly and always responds promptly to any questions or concerns. The teachers at the school are patient and loving towards the children. I can see my child's different growth through the Montessori learning method. The school is also very attentive, which makes me very satisfied.”

“I am grateful that both of my children growing up in Little Kiwis. My daughter started at 15 months and my son started at 11 months. I feel happy to see them waving to me and saying "goodbye mummy". Because I know that their needs and their feelings will be seen and be good taken care of by the teachers. Also, my daughter successfully passed 2interviews of private primary schools this year, and she was praised by the school principal. They think she's well educated and well trained. I want to thank every teacher at Little Kiwis for their dedication, and I thank God's love in there .”

“We’ve had a fantastic experience with Kiddie Garden Learning Corner! The teachers are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in the children’s growth and happiness. My child loves going every day and has learned so much—from creative activities to social skills. The environment is safe, nurturing, and well-organized, with plenty of engaging activities that keep the kids excited. Communication with parents is also excellent, keeping us updated on our child’s progress. The kids are very well fed too. My child doesn’t come home hungry in the evening, and that’s a great relief to know that the kids are fed frequent and adequately. I highly recommend Kiddie Garden to any parent looking for a loving and enriching daycare experience!”

“This is my daughter’s second daycare, and she started here at 2 years old. To my surprise, she loves Honey Bees from the very first day. we don’t even need a transition period! While I was a worried mum calling many times on her first day, she was super happy, settled quickly, and has made so many friends. She absolutely adores her teachers, especially Juliana, Marisa, and Nicolette. At home, she even copies Juliana and explains things to me just like her teachers do. Every morning she is welcomed with cuddles, smiles, and praise, which makes her so excited to go in. Since starting, she has also begun talking a lot more, which is amazing to see. All the teachers (Karen, Alana) are wonderful, caring, and always quick to reply to any emails or questions. My daughter truly loves Honey Bees and her teachers.”

“My daughter start Best Start Manukau from 6 months of age and now she is turning 5 soon. I love to see my daughter looking forward to go to her preschool even on weekends. All of the staff at the centre are so loving and caring. I have seen my daughter growing up and achieving her milestones. They also do fantastic home cooked food each day , I can say there is a very family oriented atmosphere . Having experienced all 3 rooms during my daughter time there I can say with assurance the teachers are very supportive and understandable that give us more confident that our child is safe and secure. would highly recommend best start Manukau to anybody who is looking for care.”

“Apple Tree Preschool is a fantastic place with caring and friendly teachers who greet you warmly when you arrive and leave everyday. They provide daily verbal updates about your child at the end of the day and monthly stories that highlight their progress. The staff take sickness seriously, keeping families informed about any illnesses at the preschool and encouraging caution to keep everyone safe. They also offer hot, healthy lunches along with morning and afternoon teas every day. Overall, it’s a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where both children and parents feel supported.”

“Awesome bouldering gym. Day pass was 23 NZD (about $14 USD only) and I was told I could come for free the next 7 days, too bad it was my last day in Auckland. Excellent vibes, felt super welcome by staff and the people climbing. Lots of fun problems, ratings are in colored ranges. Problems end on the last hold (like in European gyms), shirts off are fine for males (great because it was very hot and I swear a lot), chalk is fine, they said it was actually harder cleaning liquid chalk. They managed to do a lot with the space,. there's even a Yoga room on top, a children's area, and a small fitness box. They have 2 tension boards, campus boards and a lot of boulders. Would def come back here.”

They are also flexible in terms of schedule changes and will acknowledge your concerns. The range of activities keeps the children engaged and supports both their creativity and learning. Most importantly, I feel confident knowing that my child is in a safe, nurturing environment. I highly recommend this center especially for those who are unsure whether to start their child on daycare or not.”
