Victoria Park is one of the easiest green breaks in central Auckland. It sits close to the city, so you do not need to plan a whole mission to get fresh air. What stood out first was the cleanliness. The lawns looked well kept, the paths were tidy, and we did not see trash piling up in corners. People used the space the way a park should work. We watched a group tossing a frisbee on the grass, and kids ran around laughing, chasing each other, and burning off energy. The vibe felt relaxed and normal. The people around us were friendly. Walkers nodded. Families shared space without tension. It also felt like a safe area, even with a lot going on. You get the sense that locals use this park often for sport and everyday downtime. It is also set up for more than sitting on a bench. You have open sports fields, a playground, and a skate area nearby, so different ages stay busy. We would come back again without thinking twice. It is a good place to visit with Willow in Auckland, especially if you want an easy outdoor stop between city plans.

Nice view of Sky Tower from here. Big park and sports ground with rugby and cricket. The park has picnic tables and benches, a public toilet, a big skate park, a full basketball court, and a kids' playground. A playground for younger children and a skate park and basketball court are located at opposite ends of the park. The park is famous for hosting popular events and festivals. The big pathway around the park. Good for walking, running, and biking. Very fun place. You can see here and there the homeless people sleeping in the park. Awesome park.

Great place for an inner city run or walk with the dog. If you use the outside footpath it is 1.33km per lap.

One of the best spots to take photos of the city. Came at night to enjoy the views prob my favourite view of the whole city.

Just an average Park. It does have a big playground, a cricket pitching and hitting cage, and a skateboard area, but mostly just lots of open grass area. Nice shady trees around the perimeter with walkways.

G'day mate! Let me tell ya, this park is bloomin' beautif'! I almost spat out me VB when I saw the size of the BBQ they got here, mate. It's fair dinkum huge! And the kids playground? It's chockers with swings, slides, and monkey bars, so the young nippers will have a ripper of a time. But it's not just the facilities that make this park a top-notch one. The whole atmosphere of this place just screams "relaxation", ya know? The trees offer a fair bit of shade, so you can sit back and watch the footy with your mates without copping too much sunburn. Plus, they keep the place clean as a whistle, so you don't have to worry about getting bogged down in any rubbish. To top it off, they've got a sick walking track that wraps around the park, so you can burn off a couple of frothies while you take in the scenery. And it's not just any scenery, mate. This park is nestled right next to some bloody brilliant hills. Overall, this is a top-notch park and I would definitely recommend it to any true blue Aussies looking for a grouse time. Cheers, mate!

A bit of life coming back to this landmark. Great restaurants, boutiques and art galleries are starting to find their feet. Hopefully more similar entrepreneurs can be encouraged here! Video from recent Easel Gallery exhibition here.

Nice park. The motorway is legit on the grass but not that much of a problem. Basketball and skating here is fun with friends.
