“I wanted to take a moment to thank Sue from YSL for the excellent service she has provided to me on the 14th of December 2026. “Great job, Sue! That clever sales trick was pure genius—smart, smooth, and effective. It helped me to decide on the spot without a doubt! Sue went above and beyond in showing few samples of perfumes and was very friendly though she had more than 1 customer to serve at that time. I would go back to her to buy more! Thank you again Sue for your great customer service and assistance.”

“Pretty huge iconic store in Manukau mall. It is an unsaid rule in our to visit this store if we are in Manukau mall. Ample variety of almost everything available. I or rather my better half particularly like the range of cosmetics. The kids section has a lot of variety. Some furniture and kitchen appliances also available but not a huge selection. The staff is helpful and courteous. Parking is not a problem since it is in the mall.”

“New interesting playground on a high slope. Long pipes-slides, swing-baskets with 360-degree rotation, high chain swings, other interesting entertainment and activities for children from 8 years old and older. Nice panoramic view. There is no fence, but children will not run out onto the street, because the playground is located in the depths of the park. The design really looks secure.”

“Kia Ora, just wanted to leave a 10 STAR review for a beautiful Tongan women named Taila she has such incredible customer service and her kindness radiates from her. When I first met her she was wearing a beautiful Kiekie (traditional Tongan clothes) for the week of the language, while assisting me in what to gift my partner she educated me on all of the things she learnt while barbering. The experience felt so personal and her connection felt so sincere it was like making a true friend. Will 100% be back again.”

“It's a funny old place, a park. I mean what do you park? A car, and it's stationary. What did I see at the park? Glorious movement. A league team training, a cricket team playing, a person taking his dog for a run on a bike. What the hell does park mean? Bloody Beaut, a sanctuary in the suburbs.”

Along with the neighbouring church land it makes up the remaining 13 hectare of a 160 hectare farm established by Reverend Gideon Smales in the late 1850s. “Emma was amazing! I tried looking everywhere for a limited edition ‘anti bullying’ tee shirt and couldn’t find one. I approached Emma who had initially said they had sold out. She offered to have another look just incase. She insisted although she didn’t have to. To my surprise she came back after a few minutes and handed me the tee which was perfect. It was the very last one. Emma was very efficient, patient and accommodating. Thank you Emma for going over and above. I appreciate your excellent service. Your boss and fellow staff should be very proud. Keep up the great work.”

“My daughter has been going to Childspace for two years and we have been so happy with it. The teachers are amazing, nurturing and so friendly. Our daughter often comes home wanting to show or teach us something that she learnt at Childspace that day and it gives us the confidence that she is going to be well prepared for starting school next year. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Childspace to anyone looking for quality daycare.”

    Parakai Kindergarten

    ★★★★★ 5

“Parakai Kindergarten is a place where you child feels safe, seen and gently encouraged to build their confidence. My son had spent the last 3 years there before turning five and moving to school. Even though he’s moving to school, and his teacher is going to be his mum he still wanted to stay at kindy where “he was so happy”. I feel that the teachers deep love and respect for their tamariki is illustrated in my son’s statement as he was so sad to leave his favourite place. Kindy isn’t just a space place for the children but a space for the whole family to be connected to the thriving community and culture that envelopes Parakai Kindergarten. As a mother and a teacher I could not recommend Parakai Kindy enough and only wish I had sent my older son there too.”
