“Very calm atmosphere, very friendly staff, good foods, coffee, liquor. Joe listens to my taste and chooses the best drink. Thank you for every single time. Come to enjoy your coffee and food with solo or with friends or family or business. Recommend this place!”
“On the corner of onehunga mall and church. Alfresco opposite St Peter’s you too can enjoy excellent food from a well practiced champion. Totally worth the wait we found Urban lists review to be accurate and will be back!”
“Never seen fried chicken eggs Benedict on any menu before, so I has to try it. The fried chicken here is very good and the eggs were poached well. The Best Ugly bagel with cream cheese and salmon was also very good. I didn't ask what roast the coffee was but it was rich and creamy. I recommend taking the short drive out from the normal cafe areas of central Auckland for a great value breakfast.”
“This is a special place to enjoy a delicious French-style galette. It's so high quality. They also have a good selection of pastries, so I recommend using them as a café. They have a wide range of menus, and I think you will enjoy any style.”
“Nice Italian restaurant with GF Pasta and Pizza. Pasta portions are huge, I‘ve struggled eating up the main size and ordered this time an entree size, which was a full size portion too. Also nice Italian wines to go with your meal. I can recommend Sangovese. Definitely a nice place to dine in. Bookings might be helpful as this place is well visited”
“It's not fancy inside but they make the best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. The fish is beautifully fresh. Perfect light, crisp batter, perfect crispy chips and crunchy potato fritters. So delicious. Recommended.”
“Awesome spot, top notch food and at a great price. Everything we ordered exceeded my expectation. The mussels were cooked to perfection in a tasty sauce and the sautéed prawns had a great kick to it that complimented the toasted baguette. These were only the starters! The main dish though was divine. We ordered the pork belly and the steak and ribs combo! The pork belly had the tastiest sauce which pairs with the crispy skin and tender meat perfectly, to top it of the kumara shavings added some crunch and extra flavouring. The mouth watering ribs were soft and succulent, falling off the bone. You think it cant get any better right? But this was paired with a cut of sirloin that was seared on the grill cooked to perfection. The tasty layer of crust holding in those medium rare flavours. Drizzle this in the mushroom sauce mixed with the coleslaw on the side. Taasty! Now hear me out, all this sounds like perfection but to top it off its BYO with the liquorland a minute walk away! Grab that bottle of wine and dine in for great evening you wont regret”
“A very good kitchen for friends to catch up with drinks in Devonport. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Staff are busy but friendly!”
“When I have visitors I always take them to the Majestic Tea House for their famously delicious Mocha's made with real milk chocolate. Mornings are the best for the cabinet food, nice selection and the slices I've tried were good. Cheerful service.”
“Favorite cafe in the area. Coffee is always good and cabinet food has never disappointed. Usually only 1 person working so expect to wait when busy, but it's worth it. Also the only place I know that has a half-caf on the menu (1 shot full caf, 1 shot decaf). Thanks for all the coffee and hugs from your giant bear!”
“Great coffee! So good we came back for a second cup later in the day! We'll be back again next time in Auckland!”
“What a great team. From Claire in the office to Mickey in the workshop the whole team was so helpful. Mickey called to discuss my machines fault and gave me options. They then fixed it very promptly and at a reasonable price. They even threw in a free bag of coffee beans. I have already recommended to others.”
“This place is such a gem! The owner was so lovely and thankfully held the kitchen open later to accommodate our delayed flight. We had the best meal in Auckland! Awesome setting and great vibes.”
“2 happy family groups in place when I came in . All coffees doubles. Character filled. Great coffee and food. Found in Te,Atatu peninsula . Demolition Deli overlooks an interesting streetscape. Friendly big table and staff”
“Steak Cheese & Jalapeño pie was so goooood definitely grab that one! And the smoke fish pie was solid too”
“What a great wee Cafe, food is excellent & coffee is the best we have had in Auckland. The service was great and with a smile that could be seen even behind a mask :-) said to”
“A great little spot with truly delicious coffee. The lovely man at the counter even remembered my order from the day before — such a nice touch. Highly recommend! New fav!”
“The food is very yummy especially the chicken Benedict, but why I write this is cause their customer service is amazing. The guy ray and his coworkers are very warm and kind and thanks to them me and my partner had a wonderful breakfast date. Definitely will go back :)”
“Ambled into Amble + Birch for a coffee (see what I did there?) last week and ordered an Iced Coffee and a Flat White. The Iced Coffee comes unsweetened, so if you prefer a touch of sweetness, I’d recommend adding a shot of caramel, vanilla, or hazelnut. That aside, it was refreshing, while the Flat White was just what was needed for a quick caffeine boost. The café offers plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, making it a comfortable spot to relax. Tucked away in an industrial-style area, it’s easy to miss - but well worth seeking out. We’ve visited multiple times, and the coffee has been consistently excellent.”
“Great service! I asked for a custom burger to meet my diet, and they catered it and adjusted the price appropriately. Was quiet enough for me to work and they were so friendly!”
“In search of the best coffee in Auckland which is overrun by the big commercial roasters. This was by far the best coffee I’ve had on my 2 week trip to NZ.”
“Love this bar . I had several games of pool with random people in there . Food was good atmosphere was good bar staff very good at there job love it”
“Great taste of Peru 40 minutes South of Auckland! If you want to try authentic Peruvian food stop at The Bull Rider Bar Bistro Grill, you will not be disappointed!”
“If you're planning on hosting any event, I highly recommend Royal Hype! Food tasted amazing and this place is VERY generous with their food. Staff was extremely kind and nice and were always keen to go above and beyond (they always offered to help even though they really.didnt have to). Everyone was so accommodating and it created an amazing atmosphere for my guests. By far the best venue I have ever booked. Everything was easy and smooth, truly a gem for huge celebrations! My party had 70 guests, but could accommodate over 100 guests depending on how you handle the seating plans.”
“My flat white (that tasted great) made it to the table the same time I sat down. Food was fresh, well made and tasted great. Clean, modern cafe. Will eat there again when we're out that way.”
“Lovely morning wandering around looking at exhibitions. Had a go at rock painting, handy café on site for coffee and food”
“This place has never failed to live up to my expectations. It’s a lovely place to come for a quick coffee and a slice while in the area.”
“I do courier service around this area every day i have my coffee and breakfast daily cafe to must visit.great service”
“Hands down best original milk tea place with pearls. I'm that kind of person who would order original with pearls from all different places to compare bubble teas relatively fairly but I haven't been moving on to other menus because their ones are too good lol. Their base tea is super flavourful which doesn't get lost when mixed with milk. Milk doesn't have weird aftertaste like some places do, and a perfect ratio between tea base and milk. Their pearls are also done in a perfect way everytime. Not too chewy, not too hard, not too soft - chewy enough to have a good amount of biting while it last but doesn't feel hard at all! Also one last thing that I have been impressed with is consistency. It never fails - same best milk tea with pearls every time.”
“Lovely place to dine. A Cosy warm fire. The food is divine. Great value. Friendly Staff. Well worth it. Lovely look out. Great for children.”
