It's not fancy inside but they make the best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. The fish is beautifully fresh. Perfect light, crisp batter, perfect crispy chips and crunchy potato fritters. So delicious. Recommended.
We discovered Soul Batter when we were on a quest for the best fish and chips in Auckland and they did not disappoint. The fish is cooked well and flakes apart as the crispy batter breaks apart in your hands. The chips are the best and most delicious I have ever had; they seem to be almost buttery. One surprise was the burgers which were incredible sorry I didn't get a picture as were too obsessed with eating it. This spot on the main street in Titirangi is not to be missed. Try it, you will be glad you did.
The burgers rock, but tonight I went for a simple fish and chip meal and was not disappointed. Great chips and batter indeed forbthe soul. Keep up the great work guys.
Excellent little take away joint in titirangi village. We got a variety of items to try out a bit of it all. Both burgers were really yummy and freshly made, the fish was fried really well and so fresh on the side (a tad too oily though), and the wedges were delicious. They are two vegan options too which is amazing! The prices are really good and the portions are also well sized - this fed 4 adults for $52 and we were quite full after. Will definitely be back!
Not your ordinary fish and chip shop. Beef and chicken burger on a next level. Beef patty and the chicken by itself is very flavourful, not relying o nthe sauce but the sauce gives the burgers the extra wow factor. Korean inspired pickle relish is top notch. Fish not oily and cooked to perfection. Will definitely come back to try out other stuff on their menu.

Had the most delicious and juicy Teriyaki Tofu burger. Full of juicy salad and sauces. The tofu was scrumptious and huge. The chips are wow too. Got the small bag. A lot of chips, more than enough for 2 or more people. Husband had the Soul Burger and loved it too. Food very, very satisfying! Thankyou!
