   One of my favourite cafés to come back to. I’ve visited several times for brunch with friends and it never disappoints. The food is consistently tasty, the vibe is relaxed, and there’s plenty of seating whether you prefer sitting outdoors or staying inside.

   Such a beautiful café in Ponsonby. The décor is really cute, and the outdoor seating is perfect on a sunny day. It’s also dog-friendly, which is a big plus. We tried the chicken waffle and it was delicious — crispy chicken with a tasty Korean sweet chilli sauce. The chicken salad was fresh and light, and the steak open sandwich was juicy even though it was well done. Loved the strawberry matcha cake and the drinks too.

   Love the spot. Not the first and certainly not the last time we came in for a brunch with friends to enjoy the delicious food and atmosphere, personally love the outdoor area, however, the place has ample of space for any taste and preferences.

   Just visited Hone Cafe after their menu refresh and I'm genuinely impressed. The food quality and creativity level has stepped up significantly. The Mixed Berries & Matcha Ice Cream French Toast is absolute perfection. The brioche has that perfect crispy exterior while remaining fluffy inside, and the house matcha ice cream balances beautifully with the grilled banana and berry coulis. Not too sweet, just right. Raw Fish Bruschetta was the surprise standout - incredibly fresh market fish with these amazing texture contrasts from the salmon caviar to the whipped ricotta. The wasabi mayo and lemon-mustard vinaigrette cut through the richness perfectly. Short Rib Beef Burger melted in my mouth - the slow-braised beef was so tender, and the Yuzu Peach Jalapeño sauce added this unique bright note that elevated everything. The battered chips were golden and crispy. Coffee game is strong here - the Matcha Latte with Labubu art was almost too cute to drink (emphasis on almost!). The Tiramisu Latte felt like dessert in a cup. Love the indoor insta-worthy space and the charming back courtyard. Service was warm and attentive. This place has quickly become my new go-to in Ponsonby - can't wait to come back and try more from their new menu!

   This morning we were enjoying a girls brunch at the honey cafe in Ponsonby. We were very happy with our meals, good presentation, good serving size and yummy fries. All was going well until…. We found MOLD growing on the maple syrup bottle they gave us to use! We sat there pondering how long has that jar been left uncleaned. Made us incredibly uncomfortable as we had used this jar. Would recommend but the meals might come with a side of mould :/

   A great cafe located in the suburbs of Ponsonby! The food is amazing, typical cafe menu but done really well. The pea and halloumi fritters were soo good! The fried chicken waffles were delicious with a nice slaw to go with it. Vietnamese coffee is really good too.

   Very surprised by how big this place was once inside. Both indoor and outdoor areas available. The food was flavourful and delicious. The staff were very friendly and service was great. Coffee was also great tasting. Will be back again!
