   I travelled from Japan to eat at this cafe. It was the best decision ever. The food was super delicious. I loved the whole aesthetic of the store. Most importantly the staff was very caring, respectful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone.

   Before I entered, I clearly said to the staff, “Sorry, is it alright if I come in? I know you’ve just cleaned everything — is it still okay for me to take a seat?” So why didn’t anyone tell me I couldn’t? There were several staff around, and I’m certain they all heard me, yet no one said anything and instead guided me to a table. Whatever happened with the previous customers has absolutely nothing to do with me. The only reason I stayed seated for about 45 minutes was because I was trying to deal with how uncomfortable the situation made me feel, and because I needed time to process what was going on. Not being able to understand the situation from a customer’s perspective, and responding with an unnecessarily long and aggressive message, is deeply concerning. For someone working in hospitality, this behaviour reflects more than just poor service — it raises questions about professionalism and basic respect.

   This is my favourite Cafe for my daily Coffee! They make the best coffee in Ponsonby and Grey Lynn. The Owners and staff are so welcoming and friendly. I loved my iced Americano today! …. such a cute surprise - iced teddy bear in the coffee! Love!

   I loves this eatery. The waffles are great (I asked for no chocolate sauce), the bog breakfast was worth the price (crispy, well-cooked streaky bacon and great herb and pork sausage). And the coffe is expertly done. All the staff were lovely to all patrons, and service was efficient. If I lived closer, I wpuld come more often--but definitely a spot I would bring my visiting families and guests to. Thank you all for the lively food and amazing first impression!

   The coffee was ok and the service was great. Was a little disappointed with the bacon and egg panini from the cabinet which was heated up. The panini was dry when served (possibly a few days old) Paid $15 for flat white and panini. I don't think I'd go back again.

   Super disappointed. The staff didn’t speak or acknowledge me except to ask if I wanted my cabinet croissant heated. I waited 10 min in a quiet cafe and when I got it, it was burnt to charcoal. I was already late and very hungry so I ate it but it was literally 50% charcoal. $9.50 to only eat the ham really annoyed me
