“Every each times I visited here, I feel comfortable more than any other cafes around Queensgate. It’s because Livi, the brilliant staff who is working there welcoming us all the time:) Once you visited, you’ll surely have the hospitality and good conversation with her, that everyone wanted in cafe time. Comfy lovely fancy. That’s what I can say about this cafe. Try extra large size with multiple shots coffee, you’ll never regret it. Chur!!”

“I commented here a couple of weeks back about my first experience being disappointing and my oat flat white was like a filter coffee. I was given the chance to try again and must say, the coffee this morning was perfect! Maybe I had a trainee at the time who knows but thanks for putting it right, nice that you genuinely care for your customers.”

“Staying in Wellington for a couple of days and decided to stop by before flying out after seeing all the great reviews. Went first thing in the morning, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The ambience was exactly my style. I’m not even a big coffee drinker, but I could still tell how good the coffee was—distinct and different from your average spot. You can tell they care about their craft. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their coffees next time I’m in town.”

“I mean, warm, tasty empanadas, sweet, endulging homemade alfajores, classic kiwi chippies, beach side, in wellington on a nice sunny day... What more could you ask for. Need to stop here and get yourself a sweet (or two!) And a savoury if you're passing by. Highly recommend. She was lovely too.”

“Absolutely fantastic! Coffee is great. Atmosphere really easy and rustic (just as I love it. Something that I really loved is that they promote the use of your own cup instead of paper goblets (go green!) They also make their own pizzas. So far, the cheapest café I had in New Zealand”

“Mainly visit as my daughter is fond of bubble tea! But the place is generally very neat and it has a nice white relaxing decoration if you enjoy to sip your drink on site. The packaging of the drink is very attractive and it comes in a sealed disposable cup with a straw.”

“As other's have said, they're is a great friendly feel in this cafe. We had never been before and chose to go for a Saturday bringing and chat. We both had The pancakes, I went for the net pancakes and my friend had the banana and bacon. These were easily the best pancakes I've had in the Wellington region and really left me happy.”

“Just had the most amazing 3 course meal featuring Sri Lankan Hoppers. Incredible food, really lovely service and got to see the hoppers being made by the chef. “Just want to write a review to shout out just how amazing the food and service was at Martha's Pantry! We were a party of 9, doing a surprise bridal shower high tea for a friend. Martha's Pantry happily and thoughtfully accommodated our little particular requests. One of our party was Diary-Free and Gluten-Free, but for particular flours. The chef reviewed the list of what flours she can and cannot have, and very kindly was able to adapt the high tea for her. The guest had a great time and was so stoked that she was able to enjoy a high tea experience as that doesn't happen very often. So thank you Martha's Pantry team for making it an awesome afternoon for us!”

“Designed mainly as a takeaway or eat and go place. There are some tables to but not many as the place is quite small. Coffees are reasonably priced below average at $3.50 a cup (standard price is usually around the $5 mark) which attracts some regulars that work nearby. Scones and pastry looks delicious but sell out fast- didn’t have a chance to try by the time I reached the counter lol. Coffee is good quality. Service is brisk and friendly. Would definitely come back and I highly recommend checking it out :)”
