Absolutely fantastic! Coffee is great. Atmosphere really easy and rustic (just as I love it. Something that I really loved is that they promote the use of your own cup instead of paper goblets (go green!) They also make their own pizzas. So far, the cheapest café I had in New Zealand
There’s a high chance that this might be the best of Wellington’s Raglan Roasts. Love the cosiness of the plywood paneling and the low ceilings. Also a good range of seating options for individuals and groups. Most importantly, the baristas are excellent and the coffee is top notch.

Depends what you’re after. Coffee is great. Prices great. But if you’re looking for a warm and friendly cafe experience the seating is pretty limited and staff pretty disinterested / cold. Get your own food. Maybe it’s a particular vibe they’re going for that doesn’t work for everyone. Kinda backpackers / students vibe. Also tea options very limited. Stack of old tea bags in the corner with no standard black tea / English breakfast. Looking at other reviews i’m keen to try the pizzas!

I walked by around 9:30 AM on January 2nd to see if they were open. I had looked at their website, their Google Maps hours and their social media, all of those platforms said they’d be open until 5 PM. They were closed, with no signage saying otherwise. There was a guy unlocking the door as I walked by with glasses and long hair (an employee I presume.) I tried asking him if they’d be open for pizza later that day, but before I could even finish asking he shook his head and walked away.
AT LAST!! Amazing Italian pizza in the heart of Wellington. No need to go around and try anymore pizza, this one is by far the best. I will go as far as to say this is the best pizza we've had in New Zealand. Thin base and quality ingredients makes for a perfect pizza. Awesome coffee to go with, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff :) Will be back soon, thanks guys. Raven and Hugo
