“The Main hall is huge! Plenty of tables and chairs. Excellent oven. Fridge was a good size to store food and drinks. Great bar area to set up kitchen stuff and prep food. You need to bring your own utensils,kitchen stuff and dish washing needs. There's no dish washer so it's best to use paper plates and cups as well as serving bowls that you can just chuck out. Thank god the Rubbish bags and bin were supplied. If you have 100 guests or under? It's best to hire the adjoining hall as the main hall is really huge. The Caretaker David was awesome to deal with,real good sort. You have to meet him at the hall to open as they don't give you keys,which is great..one less thing to worry about. Just make sure you have a sign saying private function on the entrance doors because it's on the main road and people walk in thinking there's housie or come to use the toilets lol but overall experience was excellent. Shops across the road and Chinese takeaway incase you need extras. Over all experience..Excellent!”

I also noted an issue with our lane company, which was promptly fixed. My husband and I hadn't been on a date in a long time. This place made me want to go again. The staff should be highly recommended on their performance. Incredible! We'll be back when the beers are allowed to flow again!”

“Awesome place for the price. It really is incredible value for money. It cost us $15 per person for the entire night. 4 hours of fun in an arcade with free games and unlimited laser tag. If you can find 4 hours of entertainment for less than $15 per person in Wellington, good luck to you. There were 7 of us in total and we all had a great time. We had more than 10 games of laser tag while there. The place was packed and from what I could see everyone was having a good time. They offer food and drinks here which are very reasonably priced. The staff here are excellent. Friendly and helpful, they were great when it came to helping with laser tag gear in the fritz and very professional in the face of large numbers of people. Great work. A few machines were out of order around the arcade and on the surface it seems a little bit run down but with the volume of people coming through the door it is almost to be expected. Don't let that stop you though. There is a ton of fun to be had here and we can't wait to go back. Just to give you an example, we spent at least an hour in the arcade and still didn't play all the games. While some were out of order there was ample choice for all of our tastes and plenty of machines available even with the high volume of people.”

When he moved into preschool, he had a speech and language delay and would sometimes bite out of frustration. It was a really stressful time, but the team never judged us. They worked with us to come up with a plan and stuck with it. Thanks to their patience and care, we’ve seen so much growth in him. What we love most about EIK is the way they care for the whole child. Their play-based approach encourages curiosity and discovery, and they create such a welcoming environment for all cultures. Events like the Matariki whānau evening and different language weeks are celebrated with genuine enthusiasm. The food is also amazing, they offer a wide variety and even ask parents for input to include meals our kids love at home.
