The center as such is not open but council is improving the area around it and it's looking fantastic. Sure more will be added bit by bit. Becoming a great picnic area
This new facility can be found near the pool complex in Paraparaumu. It is a great community facility, a real asset for Kapiti. Within the facility there are lots of different meeting rooms of various sizes that can be hired on a one-off or regular basis. All the rooms are tidy and clean. It also has tidy and clean kitchen and bathroom facilities. Ideal for either special meetings or meetings for regular groups (e.g. our group meets there once a month).
Great venue for general public meeting. Good variety of rooms, small and large.
The Pohutakawa Room is spacious with very good acoustics for singing, comfortable chairs and nice views of the hills to the East.
Lovely space. Clean and organised and welcoming. Thank you to the Kaitiaki of this venue.
Very good for meeting. Some people take there children over there. They have classes there.
