“Our family loves Wilton Playcentre! The kids have such a great sense of belonging. As a parent, I get massive emotional support and have made friends for life. I work 4 days a week and really look forward to my playcentre day where we get to hang out with our friends and do cool stuff.”
“We've had a great learning journey in here. The teachers are highly experienced and truly care about the children's needs and development. The environment is warm and welcoming, with plenty of opportunities for the kids in different ages to explore and learn. My child has grown so much in her time here, both academically and socially. We really appreciated and would recommend this lovely centre to other parents.”
“Incredible early childhood centre. Teachers are so caring and capable, and provide so many amazing experiences for our kids. We have full confidence our kids are in good hands here.”
“I couldn’t speak more highly of this centre. There is absolutely no other centre quite like this one and you are quick to realise this upon spending welcomed time there. The kids here get the opportunity to go on bus rides, make trips to the local super market to purchase foods to complement the food they have grown, learnt and hand picked in their own garden, they go on bike rides, learn about things that are important and current to our world, the list goes on and on. My daughters development is growing at a rapid rate and I honestly wish I could take all the credit for it but I know the large majority stems from P2. The teachers all know how to care, extend, and most importantly understand what works best for her. I believe that her needs would get lost in a bigger centre so it’s nice that numbers are kept low here. P2 is not just an early childhood centre, it’s a family where everyone is accepted and embraced, family’s are connected together, relationships are built and successes are celebrated. When our time here is up, we will walk away with some life long friends and connections. I am so thankful that my daughter gets to experience care like this. Again, I could not recommend this centre any more.”
“Lovely little daycare. Smaller and more intimate, but still large enough for my son to get plenty of exposure to different things. I feel fully comfortable leaving my son in their care. He started at 2 years old and loves it. They were amazing getting him started with a week integration and taking the time and care to make sure he was comfortable. Now he has gained so much confidence, he calls out his friends by name, is getting his colours and shapes and is developing such an amazing personality. They include me in regular updates, so I feel like I am still very much part of it all.”
“I saw about 8 early childhood centres before I found this one, and it was a clear winner. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of teachers - they have such positive attitudes, with a huge love for learning that they share with everyone around them (including me). They talk to children rather than at them. My 20 month old loves it there.”
“Very kind, helpful, and responsible teacher and my kid just love it.”
“Brilliant. Recommend this place to anyone needing glasses. Staff friendly and helpful. Prices and after-service is better than anywhere else (forget rubbish Specsavers!)”
“Both my sons are at Lollipops Waiwhetu. The teachers show genuine care and interest in the learning and lives of the children. There is a real community feel within the centre. Highly recommend.”
“Barnardos Porirua is a beautiful centre. They have a welcoming atmosphere where staff genuinely care for the children striving to assist them in acquiring new skills, nurturing, encouraging and supportive of their learning; providing nutritious meals daily. My Daughter has been at Barnardos a few months and loves it. I highly recommend this centre to others.”
“Have both my kids an awesome start in life and will never forget the glorious times they (and we) had. Thanks to all the staff over the years but especially Anna.”
“Having worked and had my children go to this fantastic well resourced center. I would rate this center as one in a million. The staff a kind, caring, wonderful, bunch of ladies, that take pride in all aspect of child development, catering for each child's individual abilities. I can not rate this center highly enough.”
“Excellent early childhood centre; caring, passionate, intelligent teachers, with great food provided. A real sense of whanau.”
“Nice people looking after your kids.”
“BestStart Petone is a wonderful childcare centre. We had two of our boys there and loved it!”
“Whitireia Child Care is an awesome centre, the children are free to be themselves. The kaimahi are always communicating with us via Storypark which has instant notification. My girl loves it and so do we as a whānau.”
“This is a fantastic little kindergarten in a beautiful neighbourhood. The teachers are welcoming and very caring. They show genuine interest in helping our little one settle in and have made an enormous effort to help us as parents settle in by introducing us to other parents. They have good values and a good structure. Nice mix between outside and inside - a good set up. Highly recommend. It is so nice to see our son happy to go to kindy so early on in his time there.”
“Fond memories of Newlands Childcare. My daughter still remembers her teachers and the kids, 4 yeara ago. Great daycare.”
“We were so worried about how daycare would go but everyone at AE was so kind and caring with our little one. He became so confident while he was there and was very happy at drop off, so we knew he was being cared for and having fun. We miss you guys!”
“We moved here after BestStart Pharazyn closed. Our son has had an amazing time here and so have we.”
“Best place for kids. The teaching staff are very good, caring. Thanks for their great efforts.”
“I went here and it was one of the best experiences of my life”
“Great kindergarten fabulous staff and my son loves it so much! Fantastic resources too.”
“My second child went to Daisies and I love it. I chose Daisies as I'd always see the kids out an about in the neighbourhood. My son has been on trips to the pool, park, Mitre10 to buy plants for the garden, and even hiked up Mt Kaukau/Tarikaka several times. The kids are expected to take their cups and plates to the kitchen after every meal, and he's even learnt to put pen lids back on when he's finished. They encourage his interests and do well at teaching him how to play with others as well as prepping him for school. Thanks Daisies”
“My third child is enrolled here. The best teachers. My kids love going everyday. I have an autistic child who’s very happy here.”
“Absolutely loved our time at Millie's House on Hopper Street. Tasha is a fantastic manager and the team are the exact teachers you want for your children. Finding a centre you can trust is so important. The team truly partner with parents and give so much energy, kindness, laughter and comfort to all of the kids that are there. Highly recommend.”
