Me and my wife went to check out the place and we did not like it. Some of the kids had soiled nappies, the smell was quite strong. Also, they don't have cameras which is how accidents and/or negligence are investigated. They were kind of pushy for enrollment. Definitely not cool.
My daughter has been at Millie’s House for the past 5 months and she has thrived there under the care of the wonderful kaiako and centre manager. They were so supportive and kind during the settling in phase and my daughter absolutely loves her time there. She is so well looked after and the communication with parents is great. I would highly recommend Millie’s House.
My little boy has been attending Millie's House for almost 5 months now and has thrived. The teachers are dedicated, providing thorough and enthusiastic care filled with love for the children. The manager is always supportive and approachable, ensuring that we feel confident in the care and education our boy receives. A special thanks to the amazing teacher, Alicja Lis. Our boy is lucky to have you as his profile teacher. This is a wonderful childcare centre, and we couldn't be happier with our choice.
My twin girls have been at this daycare for over 6 months and love it so much, so much room to play and love the separate babies rooms away from the rougher toddlers but the floor to ceiling windows help them still feel connected. Above all that, my girls had severe reflux and one was on a feeding tube and the staff took the utmost care and attention to make sure my babies were safe and comfortable. They went above and beyond in every way. The educators here are amazing and invaluable - the love they have for the kids is nothing like I’ve seen at other centres. Special thanks to the Pukeko room staff - they are the best.
Our little girl has been enrolled at Millie's house for nearly 2 years now. The management team has always been helpful and especially during the transition time between the under 2 yo to the 2 to 5 yo room. Shilpa offered to organize our daughter and her bestie to move at the same time for a smoother transition and it has been a success. We also very much appreciate the structure in the organisation and the communication with all staff, from the daily feedback, the weekly updates, the stories about our child progress.... to the general questions to the management. Kids also spend a lot of time outside (weather depending) and loving it !
I brought my daughter to Millie’s as it was very close to my & hubby’s work during my 3weeks full time back to work training after my parental. I was a bit indifferent in the beginning but was stoked to see that Shilpa was kind and considerate about the fact that my baby could be there only for a short period yet made sure that never changed the amount of love, care and affection she got from all the teachers there. We were offered a very systematic settling plan for 1week and Aleysha was assigned to our baby who she loved. She was her absolute favourite person. It’s a shame I had to move our daughter from there to other centre closer to home as now I’ll be working from home. I’d recommend Millie’s to all the parents working in town if they’re looking for a very loving, kind and happy childcare for their baby.
Our daughter has been at Millie’s House since she was 9 months old and she loves it there, and so do we. Shilpa has been very accommodating when our daughter transitioned to the ‘big kids room’, making sure she felt comfortable and made it a positive experience. We are amazed at how many new things our daughter learns everyday. The kaiako are all very professional, caring and kind. We’re happy our daughter gets to grow and develop in this wonderful childcare centre.
We settled our baby girl 6 weeks ago and as first time parents we were amazed by how empathetic and accomodating the staff were during this important transition. Since the beginning, the team has communicated with us very well and really took the time to reassure us along the process. The settling schedule really helped us to feel better about leaving our baby for the first time. The team is lovely, has a wonderful attention to details, and is very easy to talk to (when we have small worries or questions). We love how they take the time to update us on how our baby is doing during the day and show us some pictures. They have been a great support during this important period.
