“My partner brought my engagement ring in to be resized. It needed to go down 5 sizes, which is apparently a lot. While some of the major jewellers acted like this was too big of an ask, saying it would take weeks to be sent away and see if it's possible to go down that many sizes, Mayo Jewellers were happy to do it for us without fuss. My partner dropped the ring off at around 10am, and it was ready to be picked up by 4. The jeweller done a fantastic job, there's no way to tell its been altered. And they charged an incredibly reasonable price too!! We are over the moon happy and will have no hesitation in recommending Mayo jewellers and using them again in the future. Thank you so much!!”

My two dogs, a Maltese and a very spirited Yorkshire Terrier, have always been in the best hands with Flavio and Carol. My Yorkie, who can be quite challenging to groom, always looks fantastic after a session with them. The location is handy, in the Central Parade block of shops just down from New World and Z petrol station. Easy drive in, most the time grabbing a park close by or out the front. They have a great menu covering all your kiwi fish n chip classics, burgers and Chinese selections we’ve come to expect in NZ. Their online ordering system is super quick and easy to use. Added bonus, a 10% discount coupon for online orders over $15 ✅ Even if you don’t order online, you won’t be waiting long. Did I mention they do coffee too? And free wifi (NZ establishments are mostly slow on that one). Our favourites for Friday night takeaways; Gurnard or Terakihi which comes in a light batter with a hint of lemon and herb salt. Always fresh. Good chunky chips, a cheeky hot dog and spring roll always go down a treat. Their Nasi Goreng is the best Ive had in NZ, and their wonton or dumpling noodle soup too. Its 5-stars all the way from me. I recommend Central coast takeaway to anybody who asks which is what spurred me to write a review. Credit where credit is due as Nan always said, and these guys deserve the credit… best takeaways in the Bay!”

“I had the pleasure of shopping at the Mount Maunganui store looking for test pots to paint some toys someone had asked me to repair.The two young ladies Lexly and Gracie took it upon themselves to gather the appropriate colour cards and then selected the test pots. They then labelled the cards with the place on the toys the colour was to go. Their effort was very much appreciated and their pleasant, knowledgeable manner was excellent”
