This is a lovely airport golf course. I went around with my 16 year old son and two squash mates, one of whom takes his golf pretty seriously. So, we had all levels of golf represented. And that's one of the joys of this course. It's forgiving but challenging. The golf diehard went round in 7 over. He was happy. My 16 year old lost 5 balls and was thrilled. I took my Colonel Bogey and appreciated the risk reward on offer. It's verdant and beautifully kept. It's soft and flat. The greens run true and reasonably quickly. If you're in town and looking for a round, there's clubs and buggies for hire. You don't need to lug your clubs around the world. Brownie points with the missus. Every now and then, a low flying Air New Zealand turbo prop threatens to give you a haircut, zooming through so low that you can see the faces of the pilots. The reception is warm, they try to make things work for you. The lady at the front desk is born to customer service. It's well worth the experience.
Love playing golf here. Fairways are nice and grassy which ades ball flight and the greens can be quite slick. Overall a nice friendly club and staff to boot.

A decent spot for a round of golf! The staff are friendly and the course is nice too. Pretty open with some tree lining. The cool part is that it looks has an airport next to it so you get some planes that pass by. You might not be a fan but it’s something different for sure!
The course was beautiful and in great condition and facilities were nice. Course was awesome. Unfortunately, we are from out of country and rented clubs for the round. What we got should be called Mallets. The clubs hadn’t been cleaned once and they were very old and a brand I have never heard of. The other set we rented had 3 3 woods, 2 5 irons, 3 7 irons and a wedge and putter. When we told the clubhouse manager, and they didn’t even offer a credit. That’s too bad… could do better Omanu GC.
