I love The Wave Cafe! It is such a great option for a toastie, coffee, smoothie or ice cream! The real fruit ice cream is A plus and the staff are always friendly! Service with a smile at my fav beach spot to check the surf.
Doesn't get much better than real berry ice cream at the beach. These were a great size. Didn't try the food and coffee from the van as yet. Only had to wait five minutes to collect after ordering. Shady wait under the trees
Incredibly rude manager working there - I asked if I could have a scoop of chocolate icecream and the real fruit icecream. I'm not sure why it was a problem, but he was extremely rude and condescending to me. The icecream was mediocre anyway - save yourselves an unpleasant interaction and go somewhere else.
Absolutely beautiful food & hot chocolate. Definitely come back!
Started going here as itβs right on the beach and thought why not give it a go. Safe to say been going for over a year straight! The new local, always awesome friendly staff and the coffee and food is always on point (delicious)! Nothing bad to say about the team at The Wave, will continue going here rain, hail or shine canβt beat it!
I love this food truck cafe!, they have my most favorite toasted sandwich cheese, caramelized onions and tomato and it has the most delicious chutney sauce in it, crunchy toasted and so so delicious melt in your mouth. They staff there are great always so friendly and accomadating like last time I was there I got a ice-cream and a toasted sandwich and they were on to it when they asked me do you want your ice-cream first or after which I might of, but said I will have toasted sandwich first. They also can get quite busy they try to get through the line and getting your food/coffees made. I love too that they are right near the beach so also as well there are bench seats if you need to wait and they call out your name when it's ready. And they usually have some big 2 cushion seats to sit on. I also love their cruzy chilled music playing in the background. They have a very wide range of different sandwiches ice-creams and smoothies. Great display of the menu on the surfboards. So yes definitely grab a bite or something to drink from there, just be prepared to wait a little longer in line when it's especially Summer as will be very busy but you won't be disappointed!
