EasyGo Thai serves familiar Thai favourites with dine‑in, takeaway and delivery. Menus highlight pad thai, curries such as panang, cashew‑nut stir‑fries, tom yum soups and a selection of starters and salads.
Prawn salad was freah, tasty l, gebetous amount of large prawns. Massaman curry with chicken was excellent! Again generous portions and very fresh!
I ordered the shrimp salad, but it was terrible. Half of it was just onions, and the only “salad vegetables” it had were celery, carrots, and onions — that’s it. They added some sauce and a few fried shrimp, and charged $27 for it. The fried rice was even worse. More than half of it was frozen vegetables — uncut frozen broccoli, frozen carrots, and mushrooms just cut in half and not even fully cooked. This place was the worst. When I told the staff about it, they just said “that’s how it’s supposed to be” and didn’t apologize at all. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone P.s : your review is looks like just excuse, even I wasn’t upset, nor did I raise my voice. However, your staff showed no warmth and responded in an uninterested manner, without a single word of apology. I’d appreciate it if you could check the facts accurately before making any assumptions.
Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor especially green curry. You can tell that fresh, high-quality ingredients were used, and the attention to detail was evident in every bite. Recommend
Such a lovely dining experience at EasyGo Thai , probably the best Thai food I've had in all of New Zealand ❤️ The food was divine- exactly the flavours we were craving. We ordered spring rolls for starters, a green curry, spicy rice noodles with tofu and a fried rice (all vegetarian) and the spice level was medium to hot. All I can say is I highly recommend the place and can't wait to return to Tauranga and dine there again! Shout out to the lovely Jang and her instructions to the amazing Chef to ensure there was no shrimp paste or oyster sauce in our food.
There is plenty to love about this local favourite. Located across the road from Quest Mt Maunganui many of our guests have enjoyed the delicious authentic Thai dishes the team serve up. Easy Go Thai offer the best Thai food in ‘The Mount’ with top quality ingredients, quick service, and tasty authentic dishes. Dine-In, Takeaway, or Delivery -your choice to eat out or in the comforts of your apartment -either way, you will not be disappointed. Keep up the great work team!
We dined here last night after being turned away at three other Mt Maunganui establishments. Yes they where also busy, so we ordered for takeaways without expectation of being seated due to a full house for dine-in. Waitress managed to find us a spot for two and had the most amazing meal of Panang before heading to our concert. Staff quickly changed it from a takeaways to dine in with no fuss at all. Because they cared and presented amazing food, we are also getting our family takeaways from there tonight, so the kids can try some of these dishes. Would love to see this tiny, but extremely popular Thai shop have a little modern makeover, so that it's decor fit's with the epic quality of both their food and customer service. Thank you again team, you have loyal customers here and can easily recommend for dine in or takeaway or even get delivery.
Totally forgot to take pictures as it was so delicious and we ate everything! Really lovely food, great service, good portion sizes. Can't wait to go again!!!
Always happy with the takeaways. I have coeliac disease so can’t eat gluten and the curries and phad Thai can be made gluten free. We also ordered a vegan curry which has a nice selection of veggies. The staff are always warm and friendly. I would highly recommend :)
Pretty good Thai food with the salmon choochee as the highlight. Moneybags are very small but the curry puffs are light and very crispy. Quite 'live' with hard walls and floors making it quite noisy, especially with large table behind us with loud kiddies. Nice attention from staff
