   What a great couple of hours! Everyone was super friendly and professional, the briefing and kitting out of the rafters was informative and efficient and the trip down the river was as good as we had hoped - exhilarating, and at times, nerve wracking. The Tutea Falls drop was crazy, as was the canyoning, head first, down the next rapid. Big shout out for Sasha who led us on his first ever commercial rafting trip (we only found this out afterwards!) and also to all the other Rotorua Rafting leaders - they were superb and a credit to the company.

   Guides were incredible and had an amazing energy the whole time. Also very funny. The water was beautiful and very warm so swimming was not bad at all. The whole experience was a lot of fun and has honestly made our whole group want to do more rafting in the future. Probably the best thing to go and do while in Rotorua and would definitely recommend to anyone.

   The only way it could have been better was if the river magically became longer and if they take notice of a minor safety observation. On our scheduled day the river level was too high to raft but we lucked out and were able to move our schedule around and still make it work two days later. our trip started with the water levels at the highest level allowed. It was intense very quick and it stayed that way. Our guides were great. The Safety briefings to the point and brief. Rafts in great shape. Gear is great although i did see a broken paddle blade in use on our raft which makes that paddle a bit more deadly. We flipped the landing on the large waterfall and then somehow i ended up with the broken paddle which i felt better about as now the dangerous paddle was in my control. It is Memorable. A must do. Their photo team did a great job too. We purchased our pics!

   We had an incredible time with Rotorua Rafting! Our guide Justin was outstanding. He explained all the instructions very clearly and made sure everyone fully understood what to do before each rapid and waterfall. We felt safe and completely taken care of the entire time. The rest of the crew was just as supportive and energetic, which made the whole experience smooth and fun. The rafting itself was a breeze, and the 7m waterfall drop was unforgettable! Highly highly recommended!

   I recently went river rafting for the very first time, and it turned out to be one of the most exciting and memorable experiences of my life! At first, I was a bit nervous since I had never done anything like this before, but the instructors were so friendly, professional, and supportive that all my worries disappeared. They explained everything clearly, from safety rules to paddling techniques, and made sure everyone in the group felt confident before starting. Once we got into the water, the real fun began! The rapids were thrilling but still felt safe because of how well the guides managed everything. The combination of adventure, laughter, splashing water, and teamwork made it such a special experience. The beautiful scenery around the river made it even more enjoyable — it felt like a perfect mix of nature and adventure. By the end, I was completely soaked but smiling from ear to ear. It was pure fun and an amazing adrenaline rush! I would definitely love to do it again and highly recommend this activity to anyone looking for something exciting, unforgettable, and full of energy.

   Me and a group of my mates had Jacque as our guide. Originally went in with some doubts with fear of the tall waterfall however Jacque made us feel so comfortable, that I had no worries. The fun and professionalism at the same time was a perfect match. Haven’t had so much fun in a while Ngl.

   Loved the experience! They booked us last minute (when the originally company we had booked canceled - after trying to work through other options) for the Kaituna Grade 5 rafting and responded to my messages quickly. The rafting was a lot of fun and the guides were great. The guides definitely made it more fun and the entire experience felt safe. We had Jack R as our guide and he definitely enhanced the experience.

   We did white water rafting with my outdoor education class and it was an amazing team experience. The people running it were fantastic and encouraging they made us all feel comfortable in the raft as some of us were very nervous. They were very understanding of our fear factors. This should be top of your list of things to do in Rotorua 100/10 recommend.

   We booked the zip line and white water raft combo activity and we are so glad we did! It was pouring rain which we thought might be a bummer, but the scenery was so beautiful and the guides for both tours were so wonderful and knowledgeable about the local culture and area and it was a heck of a lot of fun. Don't let bad weather deter you, we had a great time and basically got a private zip line experience.

   10/10 experience! I cannot recommend this rafting experience enough. It was the absolute highlight of our trip. The whole experience was amazing. We were a little nervous, but the staff and our instructor were so calm and taught us everything we needed to know. We felt well-prepped before heading into the river. I felt safe which sounds crazy as you’ll go down rapids and waterfalls but if you listen to the advice from your instructor and do everything they say, you’ll have a ball! Even if you fall out of the boat! A great experience! I recommend this to absolute beginners like us and also those who are a little scared, to do it anyway, it was super safe, you go down the river with about three other boats, and you’ll laugh and get soaked. It’s the best!!!!
