“Hands down some of the most authentic Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand. Rich, vibrant flavours and perfectly cooked dishes. You can really taste the love and tradition in every bite”

“The best Thai food I have ever had. Nice serve and great decor. Can’t recommend enough. Pricing good to if you take into consideration the location and the serving size. Order a main each, and take home what you can’t finish in a container.”

“Ordered via Uber eats. Usually when eating from here we get takeaway and it’s always been really good. Nice food, and quick. We often get the pad Thai, basil chicken, satay chicken, roti and prawn spring rolls. Would recommend”
On the plate at Drift Cafe, Restaurant & Bar, Napier, the idea is classic fish-and-chips and well executed. A sensible spend for the quality. Sweets lean classic and not overly rich. Good value shows in the serve sizes.
Nanking Palace Restaurant delivers a simple, bistro-style offering that’s straight to the point. Good value shows in the serve sizes. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy. Pricing lines up with the offer.
“Best Thai I have ever had. Great food, good prices, nice people. Super authentic.”
“Kind service and amazing food Ask for Thai Hot if you love spicy food”
“A gem in Miramar. They have some dishes that you can't find in other Thai restaurant, such as the chicken wing stuffed with minced pork and vermicelli (wow), and sum tum salad, which has sliced deep fried chicken/beef and lettuce aside (wow). Though their Tom Yum soup is very average. So I guess it depends what you order. And the bar is really good, the Lemon, lime & bitters only costs $3.”
“Lived down the road from this place for nearly 2 years and finally decided to try it a few weeks ago. Came again tonight and was still as good as the last visit - best Thai food in town for sure! The servings were super generous and very well priced, in fact I was very pleasantly surprised at the amount of seafood in our dishes too! The food also came out very quick even though they seemed quite busy. The staff were very friendly - especially the Thai girl who was especially pro! We have definitely added this place to our frequent visit list.”
