“We came to Basil Thai Kitchen for a Pad Thai and were delighted by meeting the lovely owner Bern. We had a pleasant chat while we waited for our food. Didn't wait long and enjoyed the the pad Thai. “Napier Beach is without a question one of my favourite beaches in NZ. The dark grey sand/stone beach design and the fact that this place keeps getting more developed and utilised is actually great for the region. I visited recently, and had previously visited in 2016 and the changes were insane. Normally I would complain about tourism growth but I would much rather visit Napier than the Mount, as it fits my personality more. This is a beach and town that really requires a stay at a bach or hotel as there is plenty to see and explore along the coastline that I have not delved into yet.”
