This restaurant’s name “The Crust” sums up the eatery’s best feature- its delicious pizza crusts! Whatever quality ingredient is placed on the pizza, it’s the texture of the crust that you’ll remember after eating here.
One of the most authentic Neopolitan pizza places I've been to in New Zealand and the Crust was exactly like what was in Naples. Crispy, fresh, and flavourful. Don't let the shop front put you off. Was invited by a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and excellent pricing. A hidden gem!
Ordered delivery. Incredible food, pictures a really represent the food you order. Taste was incredible, light and leaves you feeling like you haven't just smashed an entire pizza in 5 minutes. It all arrived promptly, in great condition and still hot. I've been looking for pizza like this in Hamilton for so long, glad to finally find a new favourite!
I can’t comment directly on their pizzas but their customer service is excellent. Much better than other nearby pizza places. Thanks to the Crust our homemade pizza night was a big success. The dough was delicious and the pizzas came out great.
This was my first exposure to genuine Italian style pizza and I have to say I am a convert. The beautiful simplicity of not having an overabundance of ingredients, but just some core ingredients that mesh incredibly well together in a very complementary way was astounding. Perfect flavour profiles for me, not overpowered or underpowered in any way, nor was it too sweet which I very much appreciated. I also tried a calzone for the first time which was beautiful. Overall a stellar experience that has completely sold me on traditional Italian style pizza. Keep up the amazing work :).
Best Pizza in Hamilton. Very Authentic taste, friendly staff and beautiful space. We really enjoyed our pizzas. reasonable price too.We came all the way from Christchurch and so far this is the BEST Pizza we had in NZ.
Truly deserves 5 star. Delicious pizza and heavenly feeling after having it. You can easily finish the whole pizza by yourself. Highly recommended.
Incredibly delicious pizza. Easily the most authentic Italian style pizza in Hamilton. The base/crust was a perfect blend of fluffy, light, chewy, with a charring in all the right places. The toppings were appropriate and the distribution was spot on. One pizza is comfortable for two as a snack, but get two pizzas if you're hungry or want to take leftovers away. The ambiance of the place is terrible. There are foozball machines that put fun into functional. It could do with some more furnishings to make it feel less cavernous, but when the pizza is this good you don't really care.
We've tried a few pizza options now and they are all so good, fresh ingredients, tast vegetarian options, and the dough is just the best! Hope people will support this place as they make the best pizza in Hamilton!
