Beautiful food that transports me back to my Mum & my happy place. Lucky I have to travel a distance as it would become a dangerous daily addiction. Yes it’s that good! Recommend Samoa’s Finest to all A+
The Samoan food is somehow resembles what's good to eat from a Filipino point of view. They have the fried pig heads which is good on its own or use it to cook other Filipino cuisine. Do not leave the store without trying their Panikeke (hope I got the spelling correctly). It is fried bread (round doughnut type) with hint of pineapple. Great customer service.
Saw this place reviewed on YouTube, liked what I saw so had to try it out. I never had Samoan food before so was very curious. We had chop suey, pork belly, taro, taro leaves in coconut cream & panikeke. My gosh it was yummy. My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed it, pigged out to be exact. Also the lady who served us was most helpful.
Our family love the panikeke’s. When I’m in the neighbourhood, it’s so easy to drive in and out with freshly fried panikeke’s and great value, 5 for $2! Can’t buy much for that price! Love it!
Called a few times no answer. Drove there from Auckland to see it looked like an abandoned shop. On google it said “open”. Ended up at the next island shop a street away.
The food was very tasty and the memories that came flooding back from just the smell was amazing. Highly recommend this joint for Samoan/PI food. Was a bit pricy and the variety was a little limiting, but other than that, it’s definitely worth the visit. I drove from Petone to enjoy these treats and was very pleased the trip was worth it. Faafetai lava!
