“Three of us had lovely meals. I had seafood selection and matched the wine (by fluke) to kopiko Bay pinot gris and it was perfect. Another had steak cooked to perfection with mushroom sauce and salad and chips. Hubby had pork ribs. Definetly recommend a visit.”

“Might have already posted a review, apologies if I have. It's unlikely to be much different if I did though. I've been going to Curry King for longer than the current owners have been there, longer than the current name... at least sixteen years. Occasionally as much as twice a month, but more usually probably about once every three months or so. If I ever win lotto it'd be a lot more though! I can still honestly say it's my favourite Indian restaurant in Hamilton, and also that they have NEVER disappointed us. At WORST, we've tried a new dish that sounded great, and tasted pretty good, but turned out not to be quite what we felt like having after all. So more of 'an us problem' for sure. I now can't bring myself to eat Indian at a mall foodcourt because I know it'll only disappoint me after knowing Curry King quality. Guaranteed to make me hungry if I think about it for too long. Like now, dammit.”

All meals came out at the same time, we had a party of 9, great service & my margarita was truly one of the best cocktails l have had for a while. “Nice little hidden secret spot. Really relaxed not really overtly Asian formal layout. Casual seating with a lot of space between tables. The food was really filling. I recomend the Sans dumplings and the shrimp wonton noodle soup. I am ADDICTED to and highly RECCOMEND the pan bread. Eaten hot the buttery tastes with the chives inside I ate mostly by myself. (I had to share) The service was quick we were the only ones there. So may be a wait if there are groups or table serving. Fully enjoyed the meal and will be back soon. Thank you.”

“Good portion, good flavour, absolutely value for the money. The service is very quick too. Two dishes with rice would serve 3-4 people. It’s a great place for family lunch or dinner. They also have roast duck as well. I highly recommend this place.”

“Went to Sal's the other week with my family and it really is just an honest to goodness pizza place. Great food, fair price, and generally just a good experience. The staff were friendly and really patient with us when we stumbled on our order a bunch. Personally I'm a huge fan of the general vibe and aesthetic of the place, somehow it adds to the flavour- all in all it's a place I'm keen to eat at some other time that I'm in town! I mean the half and half pizza alone is SO worth it.”
