   Three of us had lovely meals. I had seafood selection and matched the wine (by fluke) to kopiko Bay pinot gris and it was perfect. Another had steak cooked to perfection with mushroom sauce and salad and chips. Hubby had pork ribs. Definetly recommend a visit.

   Lunch on a Sunday. There's about 10 people in the place. The special is the Roast, 25 bucks for a large, and either beef or pork. I got pork. It's a big plateful of food, good value for money if you're hungry and don't care too much about the quality or flavor. Pork slices, carrots and peas, potato (deep fried I think), broccoli and cauliflower with "cheese sauce", kumera and pumpkin, and gravy, and apple sauce on the side. Carrots peas potatoes kumera and pumpkin were all good. The cauliflower and broccoli a bit overdone and mushy, and there's something wrong with the "cheese sauce", it's got a vinegary vibe to it, it tasted off and I didn't eat it. The pork slices looked processed, like they'd come from a deli or frozen dinner, absolutely not cooked in house. And they had this old mothy flavour.... I bought crackling once from a supermarket deli that had obviously been sitting around in the jar too long, that's what the pork tasted like. Wouldn't recommend

   What a cool wee bar, went with a friend to see her friends band with an 80s theme ... wow what a great night :) Staff were very pleasant drinks were served fast, we got loaded wedges very hot and covered in cream cheese, cheese and bacon. Yum. The toilets were easy to get to and no lines. Totally recommend this bar if you are looking for a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. There's $20 roast meals on Sundays just FYI. The Danger80s band were fantastic, all the 80s classics, easy to sing along too and two really good sets. Room to dance and sing along. They are playing on the 1st May at the Richmond Club. Totally recommend this band if you love good music, a laugh and a dance.

   Had the ribs inundated with a very sickly sauce and only about 4 ribs which for $37 I felt totally ripped off the only good thing was the salad. My husband had nachos which to say the least was below average not a lot sauce mainly cheese and sour cream we will not return and will definitely make our friends aware. Could not complain about the service our waitress was excellent as well as the bar staff

   Excellent service. Friendly and welcoming wait staff. Comfortable indoor seating at tables and booths. Good selection of beers including some great local craft beers. Food was good with a few of the usual favorites on offer. Good range of pizzas. Plenty of off-street parking.
